[00:00:54] Luke Storey: Okay, here we are, episode 680. This is a Friday field [00:01:00] reveal. Nice. We got a new, a new miniseries here on the Life Stylist Podcast. And by the way, uh, anyone that wants the, uh, show notes, you'll find a link in the show description on your podcast app, and that'll be lukestory.com/680.
[00:01:15] Alyson Charles Storey: All right. Well, I know how I wanna get this party started.
[00:01:19] Luke Storey: Let's do it, baby doll.
[00:01:22] Alyson Charles Storey: Baby doll? You never called me that.
[00:01:25] Luke Storey: I'm always, uh, one for surprises.
[00:01:27] Alyson Charles Storey: Okay. So close your eyes. Um-
[00:01:30] Luke Storey: Me too?
[00:01:31] Alyson Charles Storey: Oh, yes. You specifically. Oh, okay. Okay. Everyone listening
[00:01:35] Luke Storey: Unless they're driving.
[00:01:36] Alyson Charles Storey: Right. Okay.
[00:01:37] Luke Storey: If you're not driving- You- ... uh, close your eyes ...
[00:01:39] Alyson Charles Storey: you, Luke, close your eyes for a second Listeners, just bear with me here for a moment.
[00:01:47] Alyson Charles Storey: There's a reason for this
[00:01:53] Alyson Charles Storey: Okay. Standby. And [00:02:00]
[00:02:00] Luke Storey: I hear a lighter.
[00:02:02] Alyson Charles Storey: Okay. You can open your eyes.
[00:02:08] Luke Storey: Oh, you baked me a pie?
[00:02:10] Alyson Charles Storey: Yeah. But in-
[00:02:11] Luke Storey: I thought I smelled something tasty. I thought you were making the love and yum, uh, pancakes this morning.
[00:02:16] Alyson Charles Storey: Uh, in honor of the long and I'm sure very well worth it journey of officially turning in your book and officially birthing your first book baby.
[00:02:32] Luke Storey: Wow. Thank you, honey.
[00:02:34] Alyson Charles Storey: Here's a Wild Mountain Blackberry Organic Pie.
[00:02:38] Luke Storey: Oh my God.
[00:02:39] Alyson Charles Storey: It's a little warm on the bottom.
[00:02:41] Luke Storey: How am I gonna not eat this right now?
[00:02:43] Alyson Charles Storey: I almost brought a fork up, but then I figured you'd also probably have Mambé in your mouth and you wouldn't be able to eat, so.
[00:02:50] Luke Storey: This looks so good. Oh my God.
[00:02:53] Luke Storey: Thanks, honey.
[00:02:53] Alyson Charles Storey: Yeah. So I, yeah, I-
[00:02:56] Luke Storey: I make a wish now?
[00:02:58] Alyson Charles Storey: Uh, yeah, you can tune into [00:03:00] just the gratitude for the journey or, you know, a prayer for y- your book going out into the world soon. Whatever you wish.
[00:03:08] Luke Storey: Okay
[00:03:13] Alyson Charles Storey: All right. Woo.
[00:03:14] Luke Storey: There it is.
[00:03:15] Alyson Charles Storey: Confetti flying everywhere. Thank you. Congratulations.
[00:03:18] Luke Storey: Thank you, sweetie. That's really kind. Well, I got a whiff of that thing. That's hard not to, not to eat it right now.
[00:03:26] Alyson Charles Storey: Yeah. But it's been quite a journey, and you have officially turned it into your publisher.
[00:03:32] Luke Storey: Yeah, I am in, I think, what they call, uh, the male version of postpartum.
[00:03:39] Alyson Charles Storey: I, I, yeah, I, I don't know, I don't know about that,
[00:03:41] Luke Storey: but
[00:03:41] Alyson Charles Storey: yeah.
[00:03:43] Luke Storey: Yeah. It's like a combination of, uh, mental and emotional hangover, and, uh, the most blissful, uh, relief I've ever felt.
[00:03:56] Alyson Charles Storey: Is that... Yeah, I was curious. You know, I know the energy has shifted in the home for [00:04:00] sure. Um, we were actually able to leave the house the other day, and we checked out the botanical gardens and got some lunch and, you know, took Cookie with us, of course.
[00:04:11] Alyson Charles Storey: And so, you know, I, I could instantly feel a, quite a significant energetic shift within our dynamic and the energy in the home's dynamic, but yeah, for you personally, what are you mainly noticing?
[00:04:28] Luke Storey: Well, it's f- it's funny. It's like throughout the process, I mean, I guess it's true of any, any creative, uh, a single, like, piece of work that you're creating, there's so many...
[00:04:42] Luke Storey: And this has gone on for so long, as you know. There's so many phases to it. There's, like, points at which I feel really excited and confident, and then there will be waves of like, "Wait, is this even good?"
[00:04:55] Alyson Charles Storey: What am I even doing?
[00:04:56] Luke Storey: Yeah. Like, I was thinking about that this morning, uh, because I had, [00:05:00] I had an online meeting with, uh, someone yesterday and about, about the, a- about the book.
[00:05:05] Luke Storey: And it's, I found myself today going, "Hey, why didn't they say like, 'Wow, this is really amazing. Great job.'" You know? It's just like nothing was said.
[00:05:14] Alyson Charles Storey: Hmm.
[00:05:14] Luke Storey: So things like that. So it's really fun and interesting to see how, you know, confidence will fluctuate with self-doubt and things like that. I've, I've been noticing that.
[00:05:28] Luke Storey: Or also, I think because up until now I've always been able to go in and tinker with it, right? There's been so many, as you know, iterations and edits. I mean, I've written f- probably 10
[00:05:39] Alyson Charles Storey: books. Lots of tinkering.
[00:05:41] Luke Storey: Yeah, like 10 books that'll end up being one, uh, by the time it's done. But yeah, sometimes I'll be thinking, "Oh, I forgot to put this in," or, "Should I have put that in?"
[00:05:50] Luke Storey: I think now that I can't touch it ever again, uh, I mean, I'll, guess I'll see it, but I won't be able to change one, uh, punctuation mark [00:06:00] between now and November 17th, 2026, in the year of the horse when it comes out. Um, yeah, so now it's like a real... It's a different kind of letting go and surrender. It's like knowing that I did everything I possibly could to put every bit of heart, soul, blood, sweat, and tears and value into it.
[00:06:22] Luke Storey: So it's a different kind of letting go now. It just is what it is. So I'm reminding myself this isn't the last thing I'll ever do also, because it, it feels like that, I think, for many of us that, uh, you know, really put our heart into a book. It's like you wanna put every single thing in there and get every single word right, and it's-- I think it's really good.
[00:06:45] Luke Storey: I feel really good about it. Um, and also I know that, like, there's no way I could have done a better job. I gave-
[00:06:52] Alyson Charles Storey: No, I can attest to that.
[00:06:54] Luke Storey: everything I have. Yet still it's like, oh shit, this is like, I'm done. It's kind of, it's a bit [00:07:00] surreal since it's-
[00:07:00] Alyson Charles Storey: You just have to trust in the transmission, because as we've chatted about, I don't know if on here, but at least in the home, it's, you know, we're, we're evolutionary beings, and w- you and I are, and you know, a bunch of our listeners are the types of people that are devoted to the evolutionary path.
[00:07:16] Alyson Charles Storey: And so you just have to trust that the transmission that was encoded and infused and embodied in A Horse Named Lonesome when you completed it and turned it in, and when it's officially, you know, the actual physical copies are birthed out into the world, you just have to trust in th-that that exact transmission is the one meant to be received.
[00:07:39] Luke Storey: Exactly, yeah.
[00:07:40] Alyson Charles Storey: Because you're gonna keep evolving and, you know.
[00:07:43] Luke Storey: Well, I mean, there's things, like when I started the podcast 10 years ago, there were things about which I was passionate or interested or had some level of understanding, uh, with, and now, you know, I've evolved and changed. There's many things I used to believe [00:08:00] that I don't believe now, or things that were important to me in the past that are no longer important, or ways that I just kind of frame the human experience or this reality.
[00:08:09] Luke Storey: It's always constantly evolving. So yeah, that's a really, really good reminder. There's-- I don't think anyone ever in history has written a book and then been like, "This is all I have to say for the rest of my life." You know? But it feels like that when you're in it. You know? It's like, oh, this is my one shot to express everything I've ever wanted to express, you know?
[00:08:27] Luke Storey: So yeah. But overall, I mean, I feel really good, and I'm, I'm just really excited for it. You know, when you handed me the pie, my prayer was just, you know, may my heart move through those pages and touch as many people as it's meant to, and to really be, uh, an instrument of Service to people
[00:08:54] Alyson Charles Storey: Well, I read the entire book cover to cover.
[00:08:59] Alyson Charles Storey: I read [00:09:00] every single word of the book, and not just because I'm your wife. It truly is a spectacular work of art, and I definitely witnessed and felt you give every single ounce and fiber of all you had to give, um, so that the book can be of service. So I fully trust it's gonna do exactly what pure love God and Earth Mother and your soul intend for it to do.
[00:09:29] Alyson Charles Storey: But you really are an incredible writer, and, um, it's... It made me realize, too, I mean, yes, I read every word and I read it cover to cover because you were in your final edit process, and I wanted to be of support in that process and, uh, you know, things of that nature. But, um, I- it also just was, like, so compelling.
[00:09:52] Alyson Charles Storey: I, I, I genuinely wanted to keep reading it. I was genuinely doing h- I don't know if I can say the, the little [00:10:00] portions that you put at the end of every chapter. I don't know if you want that in there yet. Oh, y-
[00:10:03] Luke Storey: y- yeah, you can say it.
[00:10:04] Alyson Charles Storey: The inner missions, I-N-N-E-R, inner missions, um, those thought-provoking questions, things to noodle on.
[00:10:12] Alyson Charles Storey: I was actually wanting to do them and actually getting insights and revelations from them. And so i- it lastly made me realize that, um, while I was such a hardcore book reader for so many years, for most of my life, for the last, I don't know, about decade, I just, I haven't been too into buying and reading books.
[00:10:37] Alyson Charles Storey: And so this is the first book, I mean, of course other than my own, Animal Power, that I've read, you know, truly all the way through. And I don't know, I mean, I'm guessing here, but probably about a decade. So I thought that that was kind of cool, you know, that your book is my first official cover-to-cover book back in the book land.
[00:10:55] Alyson Charles Storey: So that, that felt nice.
[00:10:56] Luke Storey: That is cool, and thank God you gave it that last pass because there were a [00:11:00] couple... I mean, there were some Details, kind of some finessing things that you suggested in your illegible notes on the, on the printed- My- You know, the printed version ... little scribble scrawls But you noticed a couple things that were glaring that, you know, none of the editors or copy editors caught in terms of, um, you got lost in a couple of the timelines.
[00:11:20] Luke Storey: Like, "Wait, where are we now?" That kind of thing.
[00:11:22] Alyson Charles Storey: Yeah.
[00:11:23] Luke Storey: Which is crazy, because I went through it so many times to fix those, uh, kinda temporal logic, um, sort of gaps, you know, where you could lose the reader. Um, and you caught those, and I was like, "Oh my God, how did I not notice this after doing it so many times?"
[00:11:38] Luke Storey: So.
[00:11:38] Alyson Charles Storey: Yeah. My temporal lobe shut down in a couple of those. I was like, "Wait, I thought we were here. Why is he talking about this?" It, yeah, it felt like a, an actual error, you know, that something got- Yeah ... like paragraphs accidentally got mixed around, so.
[00:11:51] Luke Storey: Yeah. Yeah, that was, that was super helpful. Um, that's the funny thing too, is like when...
[00:11:58] Luke Storey: I mean, I feel like I could [00:12:00] work on this for the next 20 years, the same book, 'cause every time you go back to it, I mean, having an objective eye like yours where you're like, "Hey, wait, we just jumped timelines here. This feels weird." Um, but also there were a number of things when I went through the final, final, final, final, final passes, um, you don't realize as you're...
[00:12:19] Luke Storey: 'Cause I write, you know, work on one chapter at a time in a separate document. I can't handle like a whole 300-page Word document. It's just too hard to navigate around. Um, so I'm working from each one, but in the course of writing, you don't real- or at least I didn't realize that there were a lot of redundancies.
[00:12:38] Luke Storey: Like, I would say- Oh ... the same thing twice. Hmm. Even sometimes within one chapter there'd be like, um, certain sentence syntax kind of formulae that I would repeat without knowing it. Hmm. 'Cause, you know, you wrote something here a month ago- Yeah ... and then you, you're continuing on. You don't realize you started 10 sentences with the [00:13:00] same preface or something like.
[00:13:02] Alyson Charles Storey: Hmm. "
[00:13:02] Luke Storey: What I've learned is that," for example, right? And it's like, oh my God, there's five "what I've learned is."
[00:13:08] Alyson Charles Storey: And then, yeah, unless you read it- So
[00:13:10] Luke Storey: there's- ...
[00:13:10] Alyson Charles Storey: cover to cover ...
[00:13:10] Luke Storey: yeah, there's weird little things like that that you don't notice, or just, um, one of my major OCD things that I really spent a lot of time cleaning up was just, uh, word echoes.
[00:13:19] Alyson Charles Storey: Yes.
[00:13:20] Luke Storey: I'd use the same word- I
[00:13:22] Alyson Charles Storey: heard you echo the phrase word echoes many times.
[00:13:25] Luke Storey: Yeah. So you, you know, you do like a w- a search in the Word document for the word, I don't know, um, divine or consciousness or whatever.
[00:13:33] Alyson Charles Storey: Medicine, yeah.
[00:13:33] Luke Storey: Whatever, and it's like 78 times. You're like, "Shit."
[00:13:37] Alyson Charles Storey: Yeah.
[00:13:37] Luke Storey: So, you know, going through and trying to sub words and, you know, the, as a reader myself, I, I notice that when...
[00:13:46] Luke Storey: It feels like lazy or sloppy when a writer Hasn't done the work to keep the novelty alive. I don't wanna hear the same word or read the same word over and [00:14:00] over again when there are great synonyms for that or another way to say it. Well,
[00:14:03] Alyson Charles Storey: you definitely tidied that up.
[00:14:05] Luke Storey: Yeah, so all that to say, uh, and we, we can move on to the rest of it, but thank you for the pie, uh, and thank you for your support through the whole thing and, and also just for putting up with me in such a-
[00:14:22] Luke Storey: just bizarre, stressed-out state of mind and just being so, um, so much less available than I normally am to, you know, be a husband and to be present and, you know, there's just so many dozens of hours locked in that office doing my thing, and you were really, really patient and understanding. I don't, I don't know that many people would be able to kind of let someone go for that long, uh, and still-
[00:14:52] Luke Storey: keep a, you know, keep a, uh, positive attitude about it, so thank you for that.
[00:14:57] Alyson Charles Storey: Oh, you're welcome. Yeah, I, you know, I, [00:15:00] I, I honestly can't say that it was all that challenging to do for whatever reason. I don't know if it's because I'm an author as well, and so I full well know the precise expedition you had embarked on.
[00:15:14] Alyson Charles Storey: I'm sure that that was a part of it. I think, too, just it was divinely aligned and orchestrated that while you were in your particular cave form of writing and authoring, I was in, you know, I'm out of it now, but I, you know, was in my own inward processes, so somehow it just kind of synced up, too, that I wasn't in a, an overly let's get out in the world, and I wasn't, uh, in a travel bug mode.
[00:15:44] Alyson Charles Storey: I wasn't, uh, feeling overly social or, um, external. So it, it somehow worked out that, yeah, you had your office door shut a lot, but I was also here in my own processes, and if I [00:16:00] needed you, I could just walk across the house and find you. So it, yeah, it, I appreciate you acknowledging, and I know you appreciate it, but, um, you know, if I'm fully honest, it, it didn't feel all that hard to, to f- figure all that out.
[00:16:15] Alyson Charles Storey: It just was what it was. That
[00:16:16] Luke Storey: probably speaks to something I wrote about in, uh, what chapter was that? Chapter, chapter eight or nine about codependency and interdependency, right? Mm-hmm. You can have interdependency where we need each other, we depend on one another, but we're also self-resourced.
[00:16:37] Alyson Charles Storey: Mm-hmm.
[00:16:38] Luke Storey: You know, where it's like my sense of wellbeing, uh, is not dependent on you being there.
[00:16:46] Luke Storey: You being there is exponentially additive, but if I have to just kind of hunker down and you're not that available, I can manage. You know what I mean? And so I guess you have the same, same capacity [00:17:00] to provide for some of your own needs when I'm not there and, you know, as I normally would be, so.
[00:17:06] Alyson Charles Storey: Mm-hmm.
[00:17:07] Luke Storey: Yeah. Super cool.
[00:17:08] Alyson Charles Storey: All right. Well, as you have had a birth, I have been in a gestating-esque process myself, and so I also had a fun announcement that I would like to share here on The Lifestylist. Um, are you ready?
[00:17:27] Luke Storey: I'm always ready.
[00:17:29] Alyson Charles Storey: P- Peewee doesn't look so ready. Yeah, uh-uh. She's got her eyes closed. She's drooling here in between us, taking a nap.
[00:17:37] Alyson Charles Storey: Um, but yeah, it's, gosh, um, I hadn't really prepared how I wanted to um, unveil this or, or make this announcement. But I have been, as anyone who's a regular listener knows, uh, you know, exiting out of a few years of the [00:18:00] deepest, darkest terrains of, of this lifetimes. And, um, I have been, you know, exiting that cave time, that deep initiatory, multilayered time.
[00:18:14] Alyson Charles Storey: And as I have been emerging out and acclimating to the light again and readjusting to, um, the world again, I have been curious for quite some time, I would say probably at least a year, about what, what does God want for me? Um, I, you know, even though I'd been so inward, I could also tell, like, I'm gonna be having some offerings again at some point.
[00:18:46] Alyson Charles Storey: I'm a very, very creative person, and I love co-creating with God and Earth Mother and being an entrepreneur and all these things. And over the last year, I would feel some preliminary layers of some [00:19:00] wafts coming in, and I'd get a quick sniff, and I'd be like... I'd get excited, and I'd be like, "Oh, is that here to stay, or what is that thing?"
[00:19:07] Alyson Charles Storey: Like, it would-- Some of them would come through so quick, I would sniff that God is, like, starting to enter some stuff, but I couldn't really tell what. Um, but for a little while now, I have gained some clarity, and so behind the scenes, I've been plugging away. And I have to say, um, I... This is perhaps the most excited I've ever been about any offerings and my calling and, and my work.
[00:19:36] Alyson Charles Storey: And the overarching name of this new era offering is called The Field Reveal. But the piece, there are different branches and arms to, um, the, the main brand, and the piece that I really want to share about today is called Match, Match with The [00:20:00] Field Reveal And do you wanna, I don't know, unpack this with me?
[00:20:06] Luke Storey: Go for it.
[00:20:07] Alyson Charles Storey: Well, Match is for all of you spiritually minded, conscious-hearted, conscious-minded singles out there that have held on to faith that you know that there's someone out there. You know that there's a match for you out there. You haven't been wanting or willing to settle. And so there are two avenues of Match with the field reveal.
[00:20:35] Alyson Charles Storey: One is an unscripted love series that I'm casting for right now, and the other part of it will be soon coming live love events that are titled Match, where conscious singles will gather, and I'll open the field for all of us, and there will be different guided practices and some mix and mingle [00:21:00] time. Um, but it's, uh love-focused and relationship-focused.
[00:21:07] Alyson Charles Storey: And so we'll put, uh, this information that I'm about to share in the show notes because it is quite specific. Um, but f- if you're feeling resonance with either of those pathways, either being put on the invite list for these live love match events and gatherings, or, and/or if you are like, "Wait, what?
[00:21:31] Alyson Charles Storey: Unscripted love series. I'm all about the love reality series. I love being on camera." You know you've got, you know, um, a, a fun personality and, and you're game for that, I would love for you to email. Uh, the email is match@thefieldreveal.com. And these are the criteria. Just please put your full name, your age, the city and state you live in, your gender and the gender preferred for your [00:22:00] partner.
[00:22:00] Alyson Charles Storey: I definitely need at least three to five pictures. Uh, one lifestyle picture would be great. And then please list three of your main life interests, passions, hobbies. And again, send all of this information with your pictures to match@thefieldreveal.com. And I'm just so pumped because everything's clicking in and coming together.
[00:22:27] Alyson Charles Storey: Talk about a lifetime of a, of a puzzle, of puzzle pieces, like, clicking into place. You know, my divine intervention and spiritual awakening was f- completely birthed out of past relationship, um, that was very challenging, and I couldn't seem to get out of the cycle, nearly a 20-year cycle of that. And, uh, God had to come in to pluck me out, and thus I was ushered into a [00:23:00] completely different life.
[00:23:01] Alyson Charles Storey: I got very aware of my spiritual gifts and my calling. I devoted to healing, uh, and entering into many years of celibacy and That long pathway, um, led you and I to getting together and, and finally being married, and then y- you know, the Higher Power Couple brand between us was born, and we've given some talks together in the relationship space.
[00:23:28] Alyson Charles Storey: But with me writing my book and you writing your book, we just haven't yet come to the place where we could fully come together to, to get that launched. So do- uh, dog. So God- God tapped me on the shoulder and was just like, "All right, sister, it's your time. Let's get this love thing, let's get it cooking."
[00:23:48] Alyson Charles Storey: So-- And also with my background and, y- you know, I, I probably haven't mentioned it here too often, or if not for a very long time, my entire career background before [00:24:00] I had my divine intervention and awakening was in television and radio, and I was a producer for major networks in New York City for a long time, and I also hosted a national daytime television talk show, and I was also a morning show radio host.
[00:24:17] Alyson Charles Storey: And so that, that was the previous version Alison for, you know, decades. So it's just-- it's really cool to see now that I'm-- the age I'm at and, you know, all the experience that I've had throughout my lifetime, it's like all culminating to the field reveal. Um, but the, the arm of the field reveal that I'm starting at first and potentially the most excited about is the match portion.
[00:24:51] Luke Storey: I love it. I'm excited about it too. I mean, I met you in 2017 when you were in like [00:25:00] full swing, go-getter on the, uh, New York City wellness, consciousness, spiritual scene, I think when it was just starting to kind of hit a peak there. And, um- Yeah, you were just very busy. Even when we first got together, you-- I mean, you slowed down 'cause you were writing your, your book, Animal Power, uh, which by the way, everyone should have.
[00:25:24] Luke Storey: There's also a card deck, and we'll put all that in the show notes. Um, but, you know, as we-- the plandemic thing happened, we kind of had to skedaddle out of California as a bit of a, a refugee migration for us to escape that place, moved to Texas and, you know, you've, you've been going through whatever processes that you have.
[00:25:50] Luke Storey: But I've been curious, kind of watching from the sidelines, what's her thing gonna be, you know? And you've-- as you said, you've played with a bunch of ideas and [00:26:00] bouncing things back and forth, and this kind of overarching idea that is-- you described a little bit, has, um, kind of different, uh, avenues to it, is the one I think for me that has felt the most uh, aligned for your skillset and where you are in life.
[00:26:22] Luke Storey: So I'm, I'm super pumped to, uh- Thanks ... to support and participate as needed. And, um, I think it's just, it's really important. I mean, one thing that I've heard from listeners over the years repeatedly is, and that, you know, it als- has a lot to do with my big, uh, theme right now of loneliness and connection and stuff, uh, which is what my book is about, for those that haven't heard me talk about it.
[00:26:47] Luke Storey: Um, so I get so much feedback from people that are like, "I can't meet like-minded people where I live. I'm like the black sheep," in terms of their social circle, but even more [00:27:00] so people that are single and who are on a spiritual path or a healing path, and they just can't find someone who, uh, lives by the same values, you know?
[00:27:14] Luke Storey: So I think it's like- Yeah ... a very needed kinda matchmaking platform, you know, whether it's the TV show or the live events. I mean, I think we got l- lucky- Match
[00:27:26] Alyson Charles Storey: revealing.
[00:27:27] Luke Storey: Match revealing, yes. I think we were fortunate that we were both kind of in the same industry, and so, you know, we met through work initially.
[00:27:35] Luke Storey: But there are many people who are also on a similar path, but, you know, they probably have a job or something like that, or live somewhere, um, where there are fewer people with those interests, you know? So I think it's super cool. I'm very excited.
[00:27:53] Alyson Charles Storey: And I think a- too, a lot of people that are spiritually curious or completely devoted to the [00:28:00] spiritual path, we know what an initiatory, dynamic, miraculous, ever, you know, it's a living, breathing, wildly fluctuating organism that walking this type of path is.
[00:28:17] Alyson Charles Storey: And so Y- you know, it, uh, sometimes can be challenging. You know, I'll s- speak for myself. I had kind of ... What is, what's that saying? Thrown in the towel a little bit. I had been single and celibate for so long. I had really come to accept that aligning with a husband who, uh, not only would be up for, um, being present to all the wild multi-dimensions of me, but I didn't want someone who would just be like, oh, bare-knuckling that ride with me.
[00:28:52] Alyson Charles Storey: I wanted someone who would love that I'm this feral, wild medicine woman who walks the [00:29:00] shamanic and oracle path. I wanted someone who, who loved that, who celebrated that, who would want to uplift and empower and fan the flames of that. I didn't want someone who, obviously it wouldn't work to have someone scared of that, and I encountered that countless times, and I didn't wanna settle for someone who would just be over there in the corner, like, side-eyeing when I'm going through some i- initiation and shamanic process, and they're just like, "What the hell?"
[00:29:28] Alyson Charles Storey: And can't relate to what I'm experiencing. Um, w- I knew what I needed, and I wasn't sure that it was out there, and so I, we are living testament to these types of people, and conscious sacred partnerships are available, and they are out there. And so I wanna do what I can, uh, for these singles to find, to reveal, um, their match.
[00:29:53] Alyson Charles Storey: And there was one other thing. Oh, yeah, I, it's, uh ... I mean, I, I can't speak for men, 'cause I don't know what it was like [00:30:00] for you or for spiritual conscious men, but yeah, for women it's, it's just, it's a really intriguing process, where you know who you are, and you're a woman in your divine power, and you have all of these spiritual gifts, and you know how powerful you are.
[00:30:19] Alyson Charles Storey: It does take a certain type of man who has done enough work and is secure enough within themselves to be able to be with a woman like that. And so if I can play any part or role in uni- uniting, um, these types of people with, with Match with the Field Revealed, then I am certainly game for it.
[00:30:42] Luke Storey: I love it.
[00:30:42] Alyson Charles Storey: Yeah.
[00:30:48] Luke Storey: After nearly three decades in the health world, I've learned a few things, and one of the most important is this: the best supplement routine isn't the one you copy from someone else. It's the one that actually fits [00:31:00] your unique body, and that's one of the many reasons I love Activation Products from Ian Clark.
[00:31:05] Luke Storey: This dude is an OG in the wellness space. He was a biohacker before there was a name for it. Ian teaches how to support your body through his 15 master keys of health. It's a framework built around fundamentals like hydration, minerals, healthy oils, detox, and cellular nutrition. And what's cool is that Activation Products even has a one-minute quiz that gives you a personalized protocol based on those keys.
[00:31:30] Luke Storey: My quiz recommended black cumin oil, or as many people call it, black seed oil, which I've already been using for years. So that was a clue that this quiz was on point. The black cumin oil is great for immune and gut health, respiratory wellness, and liver function. And another thing that popped up on the test was Restore for hydration and mineral balance, which is huge because I'm in the sauna so often.
[00:31:52] Luke Storey: And then there's Ease Magnesium, a fast-acting magnesium spray that absorbs through your skin to support relaxation and deep sleep. I have [00:32:00] bottles of this stuff all over the house, including in the sauna, where I use it most often. It's a great way to get magnesium into your body. Because the smartest supplement routine is the one that's built personally for you, so take the quiz yourself and see what you discover.
[00:32:13] Luke Storey: To take the quiz and explore some of this stuff for yourself, go to activationproducts.com/luke and use the code Luke for 15% off your order. Stop guessing and build a routine that's actually made for you. That's activationproducts.com/luke, and the code is Luke.
[00:32:33] Luke Storey: Yeah. It's funny, you know, you speak to that point to which you arrived where you thought like, "Hey, maybe it's not in the cards for me," kind of thing. Um, that you were ready, but you had doubts that you would be able to find, um, a, a, a mate, a partner that was also ready and so aligned. Um, I, for me, I mean, go-- trying to go back to my state or kind of [00:33:00] state of mind during the time in which we met, um, for me it was-- I wasn't s-so much, mm, concerned that I wouldn't be able to find the woman.
[00:33:12] Luke Storey: It was more like, am I gonna be able to show up in the way that you need to if you want that kind of woman, you know? It was more like, am-
[00:33:23] Alyson Charles Storey: So you had an awareness of what it would take to be with a c- with the type of woman that you had your sights
[00:33:30] Luke Storey: on. Yeah. Well, I knew, I knew very clearly what I wanted.
[00:33:35] Luke Storey: You know, I had a, I had a vision, I mean, on paper for the exact kind of, um, you know, exact kind of woman or wife that I wanted in my life. But Somehow, I'm not sure how I knew this, but I knew that in order to find that kind of coherence with someone, that I needed to be able to show up with all of those, [00:34:00] um, qualities, attributes, principles, integrity.
[00:34:04] Luke Storey: So, um, I think in our, you know, our big moment when we became a couple over that weekend in Joshua Tree, part of what allowed me to really, mm, see you and see the potential of us was the realization that I had done enough work on myself where I was a match with you, right? It's like I had this moment of clarity where I just saw, oh my God, this is like the woman of my dreams.
[00:34:33] Luke Storey: This is literally everything I've been wanting and asking for, and even written down in a vision, right?
[00:34:40] Alyson Charles Storey: It was the big choice point.
[00:34:42] Luke Storey: Yeah, yeah. But it, it was, part of it was seeing like, whoa, holy shit, it's Allison, the homie you know, from like- Mm-hmm ... 'cause we were friends for a couple years before we got together- Yeah
[00:34:53] Luke Storey: you know? And, um, I mean, I used to call you for relationship advice and stuff, you know? It was-
[00:34:57] Alyson Charles Storey: You did ...
[00:34:57] Luke Storey: a totally different dynamic. [00:35:00] But seeing you was a huge revelation. But then also, I don't know, there was somehow this gift of insight where I saw that I had put in enough work where I was able to meet you and match you at that level.
[00:35:17] Luke Storey: So it's like I wasn't asking from a partner something that I wasn't willing or able to show up with myself. So it was a huge kind of- Yeah ... self-reflection and acknowledgement of how far I'd come from, from where I used to be, especially in this, you know, the arena of relationships.
[00:35:35] Alyson Charles Storey: Yeah, and for me, I, I knew leading up to our time out in the desert in the teepee together, like I knew previously, but it got really at that culmination apex point, um, where yeah, it just, it reached that apex choice point for both of us.
[00:35:55] Alyson Charles Storey: It's like I was at a point where I saw the [00:36:00] vision of us, and I, I, I got a very clear sense of what was possible here, but I wasn't gonna be willing to lower anything or shift back from anything. Like, I knew right where I needed to be and where I needed to hold myself. And so I was there, and I needed to speak my truth and be authentic, which I did, to see if you would be able to match where I was going to remain.
[00:36:32] Luke Storey: Mm-hmm.
[00:36:32] Alyson Charles Storey: Because I was not going to shift at all. And so I stayed right where I knew I needed to be, and in that conversation where the fireworks were going off, the light bulbs were going off, it just like, ah, this is the moment, you decided you saw the match, too. So it's like we both... It's like the, yeah, the pieces of you and I matched up in that moment, and we said yes.
[00:36:55] Alyson Charles Storey: Yeah.
[00:36:56] Luke Storey: So
[00:36:56] Alyson Charles Storey: I'm hoping through the field reveal that [00:37:00] this precise moment of matching can be revealed for other- Yeah ... conscious spiritual singles. How epic would that be?
[00:37:06] Luke Storey: Yeah, 100%. I mean, and ours was in part, um, you know, although we, we knew one another, but there was a certain kismet, uh, that weekend, you know.
[00:37:19] Luke Storey: We're in ceremony, and there was a lot of magic in the air. Things were... There was a field, right, that we were, that we, we were in together- Mm-hmm gave us a, how do you say it? Like, reality . Like, the reality and clarity around, like, who we are and where we were in life, and what we could mean to each other, was kind of sped up, in a sense, versus if we had, you know, just gone on 10 more dates, and went out to dinner, or went to a movie, or, you know, went to a party together or something like that.
[00:37:54] Alyson Charles Storey: Yeah, that level of the field definitely facilitated
[00:37:57] Luke Storey: the- Yeah. So with- ...
[00:37:58] Alyson Charles Storey: fast-forward button.
[00:37:59] Luke Storey: [00:38:00] Yeah, so with your idea, I mean, it, you know, you're not gonna be using, um, peyote or any plant medicines that I'm aware of, right? Correct. It's
[00:38:06] Alyson Charles Storey: a, it's a, it's entering into the medicine field with no medicine necessary.
[00:38:10] Luke Storey: Yeah. So I can see how that, 'cause I know how powerful you are in the work that you do with that. I mean, it gets very, uh, kind of-
[00:38:19] Alyson Charles Storey: Medicine-y ...
[00:38:20] Luke Storey: medicine-y. Etheric, and smoky, and just it's very trippy. So if you're able to open up that kind of field, I think that it's very likely that people will be able to find that alignment together because of the coherent space that they're in, right?
[00:38:39] Luke Storey: It's much easier to see coherence or see a lack of coherence when you're in a rarefied field like that.
[00:38:47] Alyson Charles Storey: Mm.
[00:38:48] Luke Storey: So I think it's a really beautiful, beautiful offering. I'm excited to see it come to fruition.
[00:38:53] Alyson Charles Storey: Yeah. And I just, I love how it's all coming together. It's, it's live love match events where [00:39:00] sparks ignite.
[00:39:01] Luke Storey: I love it. So cool.
[00:39:03] Alyson Charles Storey: So it gets to blend in. You know, I, I am a fire keeper, and you know how much I love fire and fire ceremonies. It's such, you know, me, I, working with sacred grandfire is something I do almost on a daily basis. And so to, it's just, a- again, everything coming together, all the puzzle pieces aligning.
[00:39:22] Alyson Charles Storey: And, um, while we're on this vein of things, um, to just express another type of transmission that moves through with this work and with the field reveal, I did sit outside the other day, and I opened the field, and I would, just wanted to see if a potential the field reveal report may enter in, and there were some messages that I received from the field.
[00:39:47] Alyson Charles Storey: So you have no idea what these are. Would you like for me to read the field reveal report?
[00:39:51] Luke Storey: 100%.
[00:39:52] Alyson Charles Storey: Okay. So yeah, just play with me on this. Um- There are some different themes that the field [00:40:00] presented as just possible guidance for, for we humans embarking on this wild earth ride. So here we go. Here is the first official The Field Reveal Report.
[00:40:12] Alyson Charles Storey: You heard it here first on The
[00:40:14] Luke Storey: Lifestyle. So it's kind of a, a forecast in a sense. Would that be
[00:40:18] Alyson Charles Storey: another way to say it? Sure, yeah. We can say it's a divine weather forecast.
[00:40:21] Luke Storey: Okay. I like that.
[00:40:22] Alyson Charles Storey: Okay, cool. So it begins with westerly wind whispers and gusts. So the very first thing that happened when I sat outside, um, and I opened into the field from the west, this huge like gust of wind, uh, started to come in.
[00:40:39] Alyson Charles Storey: So it was a really beautiful start. So the westerly wind whispers and gusts strongly urge us to release doubts about what we know is our next mission step. Remain upright and in full trust of what you know is now for you. [00:41:00] Stay with the sweetness and the air about it, not the naysayer buzz in the mind or brain.
[00:41:07] Alyson Charles Storey: Stay with the sweet aroma of God's plan for you. So that's the first part. What do you feel or what, any thoughts on that first theme for the report?
[00:41:20] Luke Storey: I mean, the
[00:41:24] Luke Storey: It describes exactly where I am in, in my life right now in so many ways. There's, um, you know, a real opportunity for me to lean in and expand. I've been kind of in a Well, somewhat. I mean, I work really hard, as you know. Way too hard often, but kind of in a comfort zone, you know, in terms of my career and even social life and things like that.
[00:41:55] Luke Storey: So that kind of, um, clarity [00:42:00] and trust and leaning in is really important to me right now, and also not giving any energy or credence to the ideas that the mind comes up with about why it won't work or why you can't do the thing you wanna do. And, you know, something that, that I struggle with at times still is, um, just self-doubt.
[00:42:26] Luke Storey: You know? It's just, like, the place I came from. Um, I've had a lot of failure and suffering in my life, right? And so, um, there's, like, a... Uh, there's a book by Gay Hendricks called, um, The Big Leap, I think it's called. And, um, he talks about this concept of the upper limit, which is, like, this subconscious sort of ceiling that you have over you that, um, you know, [00:43:00] you don't know it's there 'cause it's unconscious.
[00:43:02] Luke Storey: But it's, like, hard to even imagine a certain level of freedom or success because it's so outside of your past, your history, you know? And so that, um, that wind from the west kind of pushing me forward, activating my sails, and giving me the, you know, the fortitude and the faith to move forward kind of into the unknown, which is what this year for me is really about.
[00:43:31] Alyson Charles Storey: Love that. Next on the agenda, coherence and harmonization are two main themes. Where can you hold the line a bit further and deeper regarding having your thoughts align with your actions, align with your core values, align with your priorities, align with your heart and dreams? So when you hear that previous sentence, I'll say it one more time.
[00:43:59] Alyson Charles Storey: [00:44:00] Where can you hold the line a bit further and deeper regarding having your thoughts align with your actions, align with your core values, align with your priorities, align with your heart and dreams? When you hear that sentence, what jumps out at you as an area in your life that is not fully synced up with the path that you know you're meant to take and the human you know you're meant to be?
[00:44:27] Alyson Charles Storey: So it's a tuning in to those different components of our path and of our life, and it's an invitation to see where there might be a piece that's even just, you know, a little bit tilted off-kilter. And if you can be courageous enough to be in the field and let that area highlight, some of you may already be having a light bulb go off or feeling something in your heart that's leading you to where that light bulb will go off.
[00:44:58] Alyson Charles Storey: That's, that's kind of the [00:45:00] piece that will bring you into this greater coherence and harmonization Um, anything you wanna say to that piece before I read the last part?
[00:45:09] Luke Storey: Well, of course, when you, when you give the prompts, I'm, like, g- uh, doing a bit of self-inquiry. I think two things came up for me as you were, um, sharing that.
[00:45:19] Luke Storey: One is m- my desire to be really mindful, um, in regard to how I spend my energy and attention. Um, one thing that's been kind of, um, a benefit of being so in the weeds on a project for so long is, um, I just haven't had the bandwidth to be on social media, you know. Jared here runs my, my Instagrams, you know, and I went on there today for the first time and went through, like, all these unread DMs and things like that.
[00:45:51] Luke Storey: Um, but it's been quite a while now that I've been very disengaged from social media, and now I'm noticing as I [00:46:00] start to tiptoe back in there that a lot of the content that I follow or content that the algorithm feeds me is very doomscroll-y.
[00:46:11] Alyson Charles Storey: Mm.
[00:46:12] Luke Storey: You know? It's like everything that's wrong with the world, and all of the evil, and the chemtrails, and the cell towers, and the data centers and like- Mm
[00:46:19] Luke Storey: it's just like, whoa, just put my toe in the water, and, um, my perspective of this realm, uh, in which we live can get pretty negative. When that's true, there is a lot of negativity and darkness, but at the same time, there's also, there's m- more people waking up, uh, to, oh, I don't know, to truth, to their, their truth, to objective truth than ever before in my lifetime, you know, as the veil of media and all of the mind control and manipulation is kind of wearing so thin, um, that you could look at the [00:47:00] world we're in as, like, the best time ever or the worst time ever.
[00:47:03] Luke Storey: So my being mindful about where I'm spending my attention and what, what I'm allowing to enter my ears and eyes and, you know, how I'm kind of m- m- g- g- uh, protecting my coherence, right, and staying in the reality that I wanna live in. So that's one.
[00:47:21] Alyson Charles Storey: What's the solution for that, though?
[00:47:23] Luke Storey: Uh, the solution is to put more of my attention on solutions and on Positivity
[00:47:33] Alyson Charles Storey: Do you need to change who you're following on Instagram or?
[00:47:37] Luke Storey: Um No, it's not so much Instagram for me. Um, it would be Telegram. That's the real black hole. Um, and somewhat on, on, uh, X, you know? I don't know. The things I get fed on there are pretty, pretty brutal sometimes. But we've talked about this before. It's like I wanna keep abreast of what's going on in [00:48:00] the world, right?
[00:48:00] Luke Storey: Um, you know, I think it's a natural human instinct to wanna know kind of what's up in the village, and, uh, fortunately or unfortunately, our village is billions of people that you have access to 24/7, you know? Um, so I don't think the human nervous system and brain is designed to take in that much data, you know?
[00:48:21] Luke Storey: So it's not so much about, like, which platform or which accounts, it's just throttling my exposure to that. And what I would do instead, 'cause you can't fight the darkness, is just if I'm gonna listen to a podcast, maybe instead of listening to one about, you know, the Epstein files, I could listen to Tom Knowles talk about, you know, um, the Vedic worldview, or listen to some Ram Dass or David Hawkins.
[00:48:50] Alyson Charles Storey: Or our friend Swami. I, I think I got an email just this week that he's launching a new course. You could-
[00:48:55] Luke Storey: Yeah, exactly ... watch
[00:48:56] Alyson Charles Storey: Swami's course.
[00:48:57] Luke Storey: Exactly. So there's, I mean, there's so much [00:49:00] uplifting, um, content and information and, and things like that out there. So for me it's, it's always a matter of, um, substitution, right?
[00:49:08] Luke Storey: It's like sometimes you and I, if we're watching TV later at night, if something's, like, too kind of edgy, you know, you don't wanna go to bed with that in your awareness, right? So it's like-
[00:49:20] Alyson Charles Storey: Yeah ...
[00:49:20] Luke Storey: we could watch, like, Naked and Afraid, or Alone, or Homestead Rescue, you know? The shows that I really like.
[00:49:26] Alyson Charles Storey: Well, I like those, too.
[00:49:28] Luke Storey: Or a, you know, cult or serial killer documentary or something, right? So it's- I,
[00:49:32] Alyson Charles Storey: that's not, yeah ...
[00:49:33] Luke Storey: it's not like one's right and one's wrong. It's just they're, they exist on a spectrum of consciousness. They have a different energy. And
[00:49:39] Alyson Charles Storey: what adds to the coherence-
[00:49:41] Luke Storey: Exactly ...
[00:49:41] Alyson Charles Storey: for, for each individual person- Exactly
[00:49:43] Alyson Charles Storey: and their goal for their coherence.
[00:49:44] Luke Storey: Yeah, so it's just, that's what came to mind, is just making wise choices that really serve me. And then the other one is something that has, I felt, um, has really been missing from my life for, for quite a long time now, is really [00:50:00] finding, uh, ways in which I can be directly of service to people.
[00:50:06] Alyson Charles Storey: Mm-hmm.
[00:50:07] Luke Storey: You know, I'm of service to you, and Cookie, and a couple close friends. Yeah. But when I was much more involved in recovery communities, I mean, I spent a lot of time every single day just helping people with no, uh, ulterior motive or any kind of monetary exchange or anything like that, right? Just helping guys out that were having a hard time.
[00:50:32] Luke Storey: Um, and, uh- helping them out with things that I had struggled with myself and, and learning to overcome them, you know, and gaining some wisdom through going through those initiations. So I don't know what that looks like exactly. I have a feeling as I get out into the public more and start doing more speaking and things around my, uh, book launch, uh, in November, that I will be able to get more face time with people.
[00:50:58] Luke Storey: But I think one [00:51:00] of the things that-- I don't think, I know what is the most, um, fulfilling thing to me is really helping people to lift themselves out of painful patterns and, and to help them alleviate their own suffering, you know? In other words, to, like, find value in the-
[00:51:25] Alyson Charles Storey: Mm ...
[00:51:25] Luke Storey: difficult things that I've been through in life.
[00:51:27] Luke Storey: It's-- They don't hold value to me solely based on how I've been able to use them as catalysts for my own growth and evolution. Th- Like pay it forward
[00:51:36] Alyson Charles Storey: I
[00:51:37] Luke Storey: see that. Yeah, the pay it forward thing. But when you, you know, you don't realize you've got, um, I don't know, some level of wisdom around a particular issue, let's say, right?
[00:51:48] Luke Storey: And you're just kinda living your life, and you don't notice 'cause it's hard to be that self-referential. But if, say, a guy friend comes to me and is like, "Hey, I'm really struggling, uh, with XYZ," and I start to, [00:52:00] you know, share some of my experience or share some principles with them that might help, and then they apply them, and you see their life transform, or you see that the thing they were struggling with, they're able to overcome it, there's-- it's such a, um-- It's so affirming and validating when I get to see it kind of come to life in someone else.
[00:52:20] Luke Storey: So that's something I'm really wanting to put my energy into too when it comes to coherence. It's like I wanna align with people that we can, you know, have a mutually supportive relationship, but more so even ways in which I can be of service that are super inconvenient. Yeah. Those are the most rewarding, you know what I mean?
[00:52:41] Luke Storey: If some-
[00:52:42] Alyson Charles Storey: What do you mean? I don't know what you mean.
[00:52:43] Luke Storey: I mean, in my experience, when I am of service to others If it's, if it's less convenient and like kind of puts me out, I find it to be much more rewarding than [00:53:00] something that's super easy, right? So it's like, I don't know, you know, somebody needs a ride to the airport or something.
[00:53:06] Luke Storey: Eh, not that big of a deal like to be supporting- Oh,
[00:53:08] Alyson Charles Storey: you're trying to... I see what you're saying, yeah.
[00:53:10] Luke Storey: Yeah. I'm just like in... I wanna be of service in meaningful ways-
[00:53:14] Alyson Charles Storey: Mm-hmm ...
[00:53:15] Luke Storey: um, where I can-
[00:53:16] Alyson Charles Storey: Right ...
[00:53:17] Luke Storey: go deeper with someone. And as you know, I mean, you- You'd
[00:53:20] Alyson Charles Storey: prefer to talk someone off a ledge than give them a ride to the airport.
[00:53:23] Luke Storey: Yeah. There you go. There you go. Yeah. Yeah. To really get in the ring with someone. Yeah. You know, um, provided they wanna get out of the ring.
[00:53:30] Alyson Charles Storey: Absolutely.
[00:53:31] Luke Storey: You know, that's, uh, that's the-
[00:53:32] Alyson Charles Storey: There's no rescuing going on over here.
[00:53:34] Luke Storey: No, that's the number, number one criteria. One of my teachers said, "You know, if you're, if you've fallen in quicksand and you're sinking, I'll reach out my hand and I'll pull you out, but I'm not getting in the quicksand with you."
[00:53:44] Luke Storey: So- Correct ... you know. There's, there's ways in, in which one can be of service without being codependent, you know, and enabling and all that weird shit. Yeah.
[00:53:52] Alyson Charles Storey: No, no savior complex and no rescuer archetypes.
[00:53:57] Luke Storey: No, not at all. And also there, there has to [00:54:00] be, I think for that kind of transformational relationship, um, in terms of being of service, there has to be an explicit equality, right?
[00:54:17] Luke Storey: That's why I've never been like, I don't know, I kind of cringe calling myself like a teacher or a coach or whatever. It's like I'm, I'm about co-creation and co-learning.
[00:54:26] Alyson Charles Storey: Mm-hmm. '
[00:54:27] Luke Storey: Cause say I take someone who's like new on the spiritual path, uh, and I have some experience or some knowledge, um, that they don't about that consciousness, whatever, right?
[00:54:38] Luke Storey: Well, they might be super badass at something else that I know nothing about, right? So it's like there's, I don't put a valuation on what your expertise is. Mm-hmm. I would love someone who, who knows how to, uh, lay sod in the yard, you know? I was just winging it. I'm on chatGPT, how do I plant a lawn? I'm tired of rocks and dirt in our backyard, you know?
[00:54:58] Luke Storey: Um, so I know [00:55:00] nothing about that, but I might know a little something about meditation that the guy who comes to install the lawn doesn't, you know? So that's the way I look at those relationships is based on, um, equality and also reciprocity, because everyone has gifts, even if they're struggling. You know, they know something that I don't know.
[00:55:18] Luke Storey: So I'm always looking to learn as much as I'm looking to teach.
[00:55:25] Luke Storey: All right, let me ask you something. Does your life suck a little more after one bad night of sleep? Well, mine does big time. If I don't sleep well, I tend to be a lot less fun. You can ask my wife for confirmation of that. I've got a shorter fuse, lower patience, and everything feels just a little harder than it should, and I'm guessing I'm not the only one.
[00:55:44] Luke Storey: But what most people don't realize is that a lot of that comes down to magnesium deficiency. Between stress and just getting older, your body burns through it faster than you can replace it, and magnesium is what your nervous system needs to shut things down at night. Now, thankfully, it's a super [00:56:00] easy fix.
[00:56:00] Luke Storey: It's called Magnesium Breakthrough from BiOptimizers. These guys created a blend of seven different forms of magnesium designed to help your body relax and support deeper, more restful sleep. I take it as part of my nightly routine, and the difference is legit. I find that my mind settles down faster, I fall asleep easier, and I wake up ready to handle my day instead of fighting my way through it.
[00:56:21] Luke Storey: Now, call me crazy, but sometimes I take it in the morning too, especially on days that are likely to be more stressful. So if you're ready to get your chill on and improve your sleep, here's what you do. Go to bioptimizers.com/luke and use the code LUKE15 to save 15%. And for a limited time, here's what's up.
[00:56:38] Luke Storey: You get a free bottle of MassZymes, BiOptimizers' best-selling digestive enzyme, added to your order automatically. That's a $20 value for free. So to take advantage of that offer, again, go to bioptimizers.com/luke. Use that code LUKE15 and enjoy a free bottle of MassZymes while supplies last.[00:57:00]
[00:57:00] Alyson Charles Storey: All right. The last part of this Friday's The Field Reveal Report. Full spectrums and full circles. You can possibly expect to soon have, or maybe you have already had this happen to you, a deeply profound full circle healing moment where you are simply fully in the knowing of something that began very early in life or a long time ago, now completing in a beautifully cathartic way.
[00:57:32] Alyson Charles Storey: This full circle moment may involve expressed acknowledgement to you in a way of honoring you, where you feel seen, revered, or respected, or possibly a full circle healing moment with a parent. Yeah. So that is quite possibly on the horizon for some folks or maybe, uh, the people, the friends listening with us right now.
[00:57:55] Alyson Charles Storey: There might be some people being like, "That just happened to me." For me, it, it did indeed just happen [00:58:00] with me, so it was very, very cathartic and very profound and powerful. And from these spirals completing, new space, and new life, and new growth appear. So they are endings metabolizing into new bright beginnings.
[00:58:19] Alyson Charles Storey: And lastly, from snail animal power wisdom: let it be easy And that is this Friday's The Field Room report with Alison Charles Starry
[00:58:33] Luke Storey: That's great
[00:58:34] Alyson Charles Storey: I'm your new weather forecaster
[00:58:36] Luke Storey: That's great. I love it. Yeah, like consciousness weather Yeah I, I just am always, um, so, I don't know, inspired maybe isn't the right word.
[00:58:48] Luke Storey: I- it's like there's this curiosity and, um, intrigue and entertainment around, like, what you're doing Yeah You're around the house doing all kinds of [00:59:00] witchy stuff, and I don't, I don't always stop in to be like, "Oh, what are you working on? What are you doing? And what insights?" But I've, I've always been just fascinated that you, you don't need to take psychedelics to enter into these kind of, uh, realms and gain wisdom and insights.
[00:59:19] Luke Storey: And I don't think anyone needs psychedelics to do that. It's just some of us, myself included, uh, I think, have a harder time doing it on the nat, so
[00:59:29] Alyson Charles Storey: But with the more practice, uh, the less-
[00:59:32] Luke Storey: Practice makes perfect, yes
[00:59:33] Alyson Charles Storey: Yeah
[00:59:33] Luke Storey: Um, something that came to mind with your last one there, you know, in terms of unfinished business or rekindling relationships, family, friends, things like that, something that, um, I've become aware of recently, it's kind of popped up.
[00:59:51] Luke Storey: And I... You know, it hasn't been because I've taken psychedelics or something. It's, it'll usually be, like, in a meditation. I'm doing, like, the Neurovisor or just [01:00:00] having some kind of my own little spacey quantum NuCalm meditation or something. Um, and it's around there are some people that I still owe amends to.
[01:00:12] Alyson Charles Storey: Really?
[01:00:13] Luke Storey: Yeah, because, I mean, I've... It's been almost 30 years that I've been, you know, writing inventories of people that, um, that I've harmed, uh, you know, in some way. And oftentimes they, they don't even-- They're like, "What? What are you talking about? It's all good." You know? It's just funny when you make amends, you know, some of us can be so kind of, um, burdened by guilt around things that we've done.
[01:00:39] Luke Storey: As we become aware of them, um, they g- they're much heavier to us oftentimes than they are the other person. You know, I remember I made amends to, um, a, a, a girl that... Well, it was a girl at the time, now a woman, uh, that I had dated when I first moved to LA when I was, like, 19. And, um, she was, she was a bit older than I.
[01:00:59] Luke Storey: And, you know, I [01:01:00] was just selfish and just a knucklehead. And, um, yeah, I d- I just kind of, like, um I don't know, started seeing another girl, stopped seeing her. I just was kind of a dick about it. I, I, there wasn't like, "Hey, you know, I wanna break up." It was just, I just kinda wandered off, right? And just sort of ghosted, I guess would be the term.
[01:01:21] Luke Storey: Um, so fast-forward-
[01:01:23] Alyson Charles Storey: Still dealing with some selfishness or unconsciousness
[01:01:25] Luke Storey: Yeah, I mean, I was young and, you know, on drugs and horny and just a wild man. Um-
[01:01:30] Alyson Charles Storey: Perfect, uh, combination
[01:01:32] Luke Storey: But anyway, it's like, I don't know, 20 years later or something, um, I remembered that, that I ... I think the thing I'm getting at is like, as you do personal inventory, uh, you know, these things will come into your awareness, right?
[01:01:46] Luke Storey: Right. And then they need to be cleaned up if you wanna have a peaceful life and you don't wanna be carrying around all that karma. So there'd be a list of people, and I'd be like, kind of brush my hands, cool, you know. I made all those phone calls. I took everyone out to coffee. Phew, did that. You know, yeah.
[01:01:59] Luke Storey: And, [01:02:00] and then what happens is over time you're like, "Oh, that one person or that one thing I did." So over time they come up, but that one was like, I don't know, 20, 25 years after that. And, um, we'd seen each other a few times over the years, but weren't in touch, but I knew how to reach her. And I said, "Hey, can, you know, can I take you out to coffee?"
[01:02:18] Luke Storey: And so I, you know, was like ... I was, like, crying. I felt so bad because I was such a different person by that point. Mm. You know, and I just was like, God, that was such a dick move. And so I shared that and she was like, "Dude, it's all good." Like, I wasn't tripping on it at all, you know?
[01:02:31] Alyson Charles Storey: Yeah.
[01:02:32] Luke Storey: I still think it was important that I did that, but it's like this thing that I had sort of discovered or had come out of the recesses of my memory that was, that felt like a really, um, a really just, just inappropriate way to behave.
[01:02:47] Luke Storey: Meant nothing to her really at the time, and fast-forward all those decades later, even less so, you know, but it was still valuable for me and, and also for her too. So there's been a lot of those. That, all that to say, [01:03:00] um, I've got a new kind of running list of people that I missed- Interesting ... or dumb shit that I did that may have inadvertently or directly harmed someone after I had done the last round of amends, right?
[01:03:14] Luke Storey: So if I made a round of amends, there was two or three people I had to clean things up with when I was 25 years sober. Now I'm coming up on 30 years sober. Mm-hmm. And, um, there's people now that I realize because my My moral compass is much more refined than it was the last round I did, right? So there's things I see, ah, you know what?
[01:03:35] Luke Storey: I used to think that was passable, but it's not passable for where I am now in terms of- Or
[01:03:40] Alyson Charles Storey: some more c- some additional cringey light bulbs going off where you're like,
[01:03:44] Luke Storey: eh. Yeah, yeah. So there's a couple phone calls that, you know, or direct amends if I can, if I can meet with people in person. But if, if it's, uh, you know, if I'm unable to do that.
[01:03:53] Luke Storey: But the point is, I don't want my own field cluttered with [01:04:00] anything that could remotely cause me to feel any guilt or shame unnecessarily. No, that's very powerful. So it's like I wanna set myself free by taking responsibility-
[01:04:11] Alyson Charles Storey: Wow ...
[01:04:11] Luke Storey: for my past behavior, and that's also a great way, I... in my experience to ensure that I don't do shit like that in, in, in the future, right?
[01:04:21] Luke Storey: Yeah. 'Cause it's like you gotta call someone and be like, "Hey, man-
[01:04:24] Alyson Charles Storey: Yeah ...
[01:04:24] Luke Storey: you know, I just want you to know X, Y, and Z was not cool. I acknowledge that,"
[01:04:29] Alyson Charles Storey: you know? As I hear you sharing about it, I feel res- a bit of resistance. You know, I, I'm not coming up with like a, a huge list, but when I even entertain the possibility of like, after we get done recording, like meditating on, do I have a list?
[01:04:42] Alyson Charles Storey: Are there people that I would wanna make amends to? I feel a slight resistance to it. I'm like, I don't wanna do that.
[01:04:47] Luke Storey: It's, it's uncomfortable, yeah. Yeah. But it's, it's another... I mean, there's many benefits to it, right? We could freaking do a whole episode on, you know- Yeah ... restitution and making amends, but one of the things about it for me that's amazing is [01:05:00] that it's like, okay, I can have an awareness of something I've done that was out of integrity, right?
[01:05:09] Luke Storey: But when I go to the person who was impacted by that behavior, and now it's like open and on the table, then I become even more aware of it moving forward because I don't want to have that experience of having inconvenienced someone, hurt someone, whatever it was, right? So it's like once that's out in the open, it just becomes much more tangible than just like something I'm kind of dreaming about or thinking about.
[01:05:38] Luke Storey: Once it's expressed verbally, uh, face to face with someone, it's like, okay, I'm not doing that shit again, 'cause this is so uncomfortable for everyone, you know? So it's, it's a, it's a, for me, a way to like further refine my character, and the net result of that is, um- That I become more of a positive experience [01:06:00] for other people in the world, and out of that, I get more peace and equanimity and self-esteem.
[01:06:08] Luke Storey: You know? Like s- feeling that I really can love myself and value myself and respect myself, you know, because I'm behaving respectfully.
[01:06:17] Alyson Charles Storey: That's all really powerful and really beautiful. Um, what is coming to mind in this tail end of hearing your share is, um, this concept I've been reflecting on a lot lately of how from my perspective, and I wanna get your take, that there's no hierarchy over being human.
[01:06:39] Alyson Charles Storey: That... How can I unpack this? That I've just come to realize on my path that while I do believe we all are equipped with various gifts, spiritual gifts, spiritual abilities, powers, [01:07:00] and some that I have come into unification with personally are my shamanic gifts, my oracle abilities, um, my seership being quite masterful.
[01:07:15] Alyson Charles Storey: And yet I would not place any of those titles or abilities over my title and ability to be human And so I'm just curious what comes up for you because it's like I, I really respect all that you just shared, and I, it's so commendable, and it just-- I love that I have a husband who on his priority list is refreshing his making amends list and doing that outreach, and I...
[01:07:49] Alyson Charles Storey: It's just that's so powerful and so beautiful, and, um, I love you even more for that. And yet at the same time, there's this part of me that, not that you're [01:08:00] beating yourself up for it, 'cause you're not. Um, you're with it in a really good, healthy way. But there is a part of me that gets elicited of just like, let's also not completely bash or beat ourselves up over being human too, because that's literally why we signed up so excitedly to incarnate on Earth, because Earth is the planet where you can be a human, and it's precisely the place where we can make these quote, unquote, "mistakes."
[01:08:26] Alyson Charles Storey: I really don't love the word mistake because it's just, it's, it's what we came here to forge a path with and to learn how to healthily be with is making these quote, unquote, "flubs and snubs and flaws and mistakes," because those are the portals and entry points for learning and growing and evolving and, and so yeah.
[01:08:51] Alyson Charles Storey: What, what are your thoughts about that?
[01:08:52] Luke Storey: Well, it's like imagine if we incarnated into this human experience and [01:09:00] we were at such a high level of consciousness, awareness, wisdom, intelligence, morality, ethics that we never hurt anyone or made any mistakes. How would you possibly evolve, right? It's like there's nowhere to evolve to, right?
[01:09:22] Luke Storey: So For me, it is a little bit of a delicate balance because, mm, there's a fine line between holding yourself to high standards and holding yourself to unrealistic standards. So I am in a decent practice, I think, of acknowledging my humanity and not taking myself too seriously, including when I've done something wrong or made a mistake or unknowingly or unconsciously hurt someone or something like that, right?
[01:09:54] Luke Storey: So it's like, I think guilt is a positive thing that we, [01:10:00] we do something that's against our values, it stings. Like, it doesn't feel comfortable, right? And so we wanna... Well, not we, I wanna clean that up, right?
[01:10:10] Alyson Charles Storey: But it-
[01:10:10] Luke Storey: There's, there's like a ledger.
[01:10:12] Alyson Charles Storey: Yeah. A- a- and the sting is okay, but then you also don't wanna let yourself slide into- That's-
[01:10:17] Alyson Charles Storey: then, like, unnecessarily beating yourself up because you're feeling some weird neuroses that you have in yourself
[01:10:24] Luke Storey: or distortion. That's what I was getting to. Yeah, yeah. That's shame.
[01:10:27] Alyson Charles Storey: Yeah, yeah.
[01:10:28] Luke Storey: Right? Gu- shame is, like, so toxic. Such a low-frequency state. Um, but I think if someone is accepting and acknowledging and embracing their humanity and having some humility about ourselves , we can acknowledge that there's some guilt around something that we've done or a mistake or an- Right
[01:10:50] Luke Storey: error, but there's enough self-love, self-worth- Yeah ... self-awareness that we know that was just an action [01:11:00] that we took. It's not representative of who we are. Like, if- Yeah ... who I am is lovable, then there's no shame, but even if I totally love myself and respect myself, honor myself, accept myself, there's also space to go, "Yeah, that was kinda, that was a bad move."
[01:11:18] Luke Storey: You know what I mean?
[01:11:19] Alyson Charles Storey: Well-
[01:11:20] Luke Storey: Without, without getting overcome by there's something wrong with me. There could be something- Yeah ... there's, I did something wrong, you know, and just in the scale of, like, moral right or wrong, I did something wrong is guilt, but that doesn't mean that I am wrong or don't deserve to, to be here, which is- And
[01:11:37] Alyson Charles Storey: the irony, too-
[01:11:39] Alyson Charles Storey: shame ... is that you have to, i- in any, in order to even get to a place where you allow yourself to see these parts of yourself or in order to even get to a place where- You allow for an [01:12:00] opening for the light bulb to go off for you to see that you did that thing 10 years ago or six months ago. You have to have done enough evolutionary/healing/spiritual/consciousness work to get yourself to a level within your own being that embodies enough of this self-love and self-honor and self-compassion.
[01:12:27] Alyson Charles Storey: That's like the master key that it even opens up f- the field of possibility for you to see your own cringe. Yeah. And for you to see your own shadow.
[01:12:36] Luke Storey: Your c- your own cringe.
[01:12:37] Alyson Charles Storey: And for you to see your own to- clown, clownery, and, um, Muggle, Muggle-y Mugglesvilles. It's, it's, it's, so it's, it's a really intriguing process you have to go through to even let yourself see your own cringe.
[01:12:54] Luke Storey: Totally, and, and y- I think each of us has to see the value [01:13:00] in self-inquiry, radical self-honesty, right? It's like projection and denial is so much easier. Projection and denial for most humans is, like, the default, not, like, true naked introspection, right, where we can just kind of step out of ourselves and just be objectively honest.
[01:13:23] Alyson Charles Storey: Mm-hmm.
[01:13:24] Luke Storey: Um, and that's not important to a lot of people. You know? No. It's just important to me because... And we were talking about this a little bit the other day. Um, you know, there was a point in my journey for a long time where, like, any leap forward in terms of growth or understanding was the avoidance of pain.
[01:13:44] Luke Storey: I'm just like, "Whoa, I know there's so much suffering over there if I keep doing things this way, so therefore I'm being motivated to change or to seek God out of pain and suffering." And now, um, it's less like [01:14:00] touching a hot stove-
[01:14:01] Alyson Charles Storey: Mm-hmm ...
[01:14:02] Luke Storey: and trying to avoid that 'cause I know it hurts. It's like, ooh, it feels really good to touch this ice cube over here.
[01:14:08] Luke Storey: It's like I'm more reaching for something out of Mm. The fact that it's just rewarding, fulfilling, gives me joy, gives me bliss, fulfillment, connection. I'm not trying to get away from something. I'm, I'm trying to get closer to something, right? Um, so that's where I find the value in just taking time to just examine myself and, you know, in the world that I come from, we call it personal inventory.
[01:14:37] Luke Storey: You know, it's like, okay, what are some of my... And that's also, like, acknowledging your good qualities. Imagine you, like, own a little bodega, right? It's like y- you do an inventory. You see, oh, we're low on Coors Light, but we have a shitload of Mountain Valley Spring Water or whatever, right? So it's like, it's also, for me, it's really important to give myself some credit and not, to [01:15:00] your point earlier, of, like, not following into the morass of guilt and shame.
[01:15:04] Luke Storey: Like, oh my God, I'm still so fucked up. Under the
[01:15:06] Alyson Charles Storey: covers at night trembling from your, yeah.
[01:15:08] Luke Storey: Yeah. So it's-
[01:15:10] Alyson Charles Storey: Your
[01:15:10] Luke Storey: misstep ... it's, you know, it's, it's, it's a little bit of a slippery slope because if you start giving yourself- Yeah ... too much credit, you can go into delusion and-
[01:15:16] Alyson Charles Storey: In- ...
[01:15:17] Luke Storey: denial, right?
[01:15:18] Alyson Charles Storey: In, in un, in unnecessarily harming other people.
[01:15:21] Luke Storey: Exactly. So-
[01:15:22] Alyson Charles Storey: You have to keep it in check and in balance.
[01:15:24] Luke Storey: Yeah. So the, the inventory is like, wow, let's look at ways that I've, that I've grown. Like, you were mentioning something before, um, which has happened to me a number of years ago, but just thinking about, um, throughout most of my life from childhood into teen, you know, childhood, adolescence, teen, 20s, 30s, 40s, I used pornography all the time, you know.
[01:15:49] Luke Storey: And then, I don't know, quite a couple decades ago, I started realizing like, hmm, I don't know if this really serves me, right, and just incrementally doing it less and less and less [01:16:00] and less, uh, to the point where it's just... I mean, that would be, today looking at porn to me would be the same as, like, smoking crack.
[01:16:09] Luke Storey: I mean, it's just like, it's not happening, you know?
[01:16:12] Alyson Charles Storey: But- Yeah, the energy of it is-
[01:16:13] Luke Storey: Yeah. So it's, and it's, that's not even a moral thing. It's just valuing my own energy and wanting to feel a certain way and finding that that really causes me to feel really dark, uh, and spiritually sick. But you couldn't have told me that 30 years ago 'cause I wasn't in a state of consciousness where I felt that contrast.
[01:16:34] Luke Storey: Right. I was in such a low state of consciousness that I was actually in coherence with pornography, right? It's like, what? It's just, of course. Just like, w- you could explain all the reasons that it's bad for me or bad for the world or women- You would go right to
[01:16:46] Alyson Charles Storey: it ...
[01:16:46] Luke Storey: or whatever. Yeah. It's just like, what?
[01:16:47] Luke Storey: You're nuts. You don't get it. You're, you know, you're a square or something, right? So that level of refinement through Exploring your own psyche and emotions and just [01:17:00] being with yourself with some level of awareness and acknowledging your humanity, I think allows at different points on the game that you, you reach a certain point where something that used to be fine for you, it could be a relationship, a behavior, whatever, used to be fine 'cause y- you were in alignment at that level, and now you've, you've gone up a couple levels in terms of your consciousness, and things that you used to be able to, quote, get away with or the things that even used to serve you don't anymore, you know?
[01:17:28] Luke Storey: So y- I think it's a, for me, it's a process. Like, I have to keep up to speed with my own growth-
[01:17:34] Alyson Charles Storey: Yeah ...
[01:17:35] Luke Storey: in order to see what still needs to be worked on and also to stop and pause and go, "Holy shit, dude. You, you really have done a great job," you know? It doesn't mean you rest on your laurels and stop working on yourself, but-
[01:17:45] Alyson Charles Storey: Yeah
[01:17:45] Luke Storey: it's really important to kind of acknowledge your wins and also the grace of God that's allowed those wins to take place.
[01:17:56] Luke Storey: Quick question for you. If you get a cut, burn, or some kind of skin [01:18:00] irritation, what's your first move? Is it alcohol that fries your skin? Peroxide that kills good cells too? Or maybe some petroleum-based ointment that seals everything up and literally traps what's in there? It blows my mind what we've been trained to put on broken skin.
[01:18:15] Luke Storey: And here's the truth, your body already has the system for healing. So instead of interfering, what if you just supported that system? Well, that's what Active Skin Repair is all about. The key ingredient is something called hypochlorous acid. It cleanses the area, calms inflammation, and supports recovery without damaging healthy tissue or your skin barrier.
[01:18:36] Luke Storey: And don't let the name throw you off, the acid bit. It's actually a molecule your white blood cells naturally produce to fight infection and speed healing. So when you use Active Skin Repair, you're not forcing some synthetic solution. You're just giving your body more of what it already uses. So if you wanna deal with those cuts, scrapes, burns, and especially here in Texas, bug bites, here's what you do.
[01:18:57] Luke Storey: Go to lukestory.com/skinrepair [01:19:00] and use the code Luke at checkout and get a fat twenty percent off your order. And if you want a deep dive on Active Skin Repair, check out Lifestylist episode six six four at lukestory.com/skincare. That episode has all of the science, all the data, all the things. You'll love it if you're a geek.
[01:19:17] Luke Storey: Or you can just jump right to it and believe me when I say you will not regret trying this product. When you're ready to try it for yourself, hit up lukestory.com/skinrepair and again, that Luke code will save you twenty percent.
[01:19:31] Alyson Charles Storey: Yeah. The thing, the funny thing that I've been noticing lately is, um And it, this is not a huge focal point, and it's not a, a thing that I'm spending time journeying on and deeply, deeply meditating on.
[01:19:44] Alyson Charles Storey: It's just been, like, this funny little thread that's shown up is th- uh, uh, the more secure, healthily secure I get with just who I am and my humanity and, um, just all, all the things, all the [01:20:00] parts, I've noticed that the more I'm letting myself see how I might be unlikable to other people, if that makes sense.
[01:20:09] Alyson Charles Storey: Like, before I used to be, uh, more perplexed. Like, if I could tell that I was off-putting to someone, or if I could just, with my seer gift or my sniffer, my strong sniffer, whatever way I could sense that someone wasn't feeling me, wasn't... you know, didn't like me, um, previously, I might just be a bit more confused by that because t- to your point you were just making, I, I am, I'm aware in a healthy way, I do have a lot of positive attributes.
[01:20:40] Alyson Charles Storey: And, uh, you know, I've... I, I feel I'm really trustworthy. I feel like I'm a great friend. I really... you know, for the small circle of friends that I choose to have, I really, um, in a r- I feel in a really healthy, valuable way. I show up for those people. I, I'm goofy. I don't take myself too seriously. I, you know, [01:21:00] I have a good sense of humor.
[01:21:00] Alyson Charles Storey: I, I, I do feel a lot, I have a lot of positive traits and attributes. So in the past, I would get a little bit more confused when I could tell that someone didn't like me. And I also wasn't so blinded to know, like, one, especially on the spiritual path, could just chalk it up to a thing that is true sometimes of, you know, one's divine power and light can be triggering for people, and I have had that experience, and people have admitted that to me.
[01:21:29] Alyson Charles Storey: They've come to me years later and say, and have said, like, "Hey, when I first met you, I really didn't like you at all. But then upon further self-inquiry, I realized that because you were doing X, Y, and Z in the world, it actually triggered me and made me real- made me feel small, but that was my own issue," and they would admit those things.
[01:21:48] Alyson Charles Storey: Um, so while that does happen, that could be an easy default to self-soothe. You could be just, "Oh, it's just my, it's just my grand divine power and light. That's why they don't like me." But [01:22:00] somewhere in the middle, there's just the reality that not everyone's gonna like you. And for whatever reason, recently, I've just, in a g- in a good, healthy, kind of funny way, I'm seeing why sometimes...
[01:22:14] Alyson Charles Storey: I don't e- I don't even have a concrete example 'cause I wasn't planning on bringing this up. But there just might be something I'll do or a quirk or a behavior in the last couple of months where I'll be like, "Oh, that could be something where I could see why someone could get annoyed at that," or, "That could be a reason why someone would be like, 'Eh, she's just not for me.'"
[01:22:33] Alyson Charles Storey: So it's just kind of this funny new little sliver that's been opening- up for me that I'm, um, intrigued and a bit amused by
[01:22:41] Luke Storey: I don't see how anyone could not like you
[01:22:43] Alyson Charles Storey: Aw, that's very kind. You're my husband, so yeah
[01:22:46] Luke Storey: I mean, I guess I'm admittedly biased, but-
[01:22:48] Alyson Charles Storey: Yeah
[01:22:50] Luke Storey: What's there not to like?
[01:22:52] Alyson Charles Storey: Well, I'm sure there's some listeners that could maybe s- that are probably like, "Uh, I'll email you a list."
[01:22:58] Alyson Charles Storey: Um, [01:23:00] but anyways, uh, that was fun. I just... I, I, I love being human. I'm relishing it more and more, I think because I trust myself to keep my shadow aspects in check and to keep my clownery and cringiness in check. The more it allows me to embrace and celebrate and love being a human. Um, and maybe lastly to that point, which is like kinda a tangent to this, is the other day when we spent a few days in a row...
[01:23:31] Alyson Charles Storey: You know, you'd mentioned the sod and resodding our backyard. You know, a whole pallet of sod showed up in our... at our front door a few days ago, and, um, I've never laid sod, so I didn't know how heavy and wet and moist and thick these, you know, giant squares of sod were. Um, but we embarked on this, um, spontaneous project to suddenly resod our entire backyard, and there was just something I freakin' [01:24:00] loved about it, to the point where as I was doing it over those course of the few days and just making lap after lap of...
[01:24:06] Alyson Charles Storey: Here's the thing, which for some people it's gonna be TMI, but it is what it is, and I wanna be free to be me. I was rockin' my period undies. I had no pants on. I just had my... On my cycle, in my period undies. I had a Kyomari Sacred Peyote Sacred Deer T-shirt on, and my little sandals covered in dirt, getting ant bites all over me, sweating, um, just making these laps with my husband.
[01:24:37] Alyson Charles Storey: Cookie was fascinated. She loves to be, uh, uh... She loves to help. We say, "Cookie help?" 'Cause she loves... If we're working on projects, she loves it. You know, the three of us and our sweet, silly Story family making these laps, dropping these huge, wet, heavy piles of sod in the backyard, and I could not have been happier.
[01:24:57] Alyson Charles Storey: At one point toward the end of one of the nights, [01:25:00] the coyotes were howling. I could hear them howling, and I just, I just looked at... I was covered in dirt and ant bites, covered in sweat, rockin' my period undies, and just... I couldn't have been happier, and I was very present to that. Like, that wasn't a hindsight thought.
[01:25:18] Alyson Charles Storey: Like, in the actual moment, I thought to myself, "I'm not mad at this at all." Like, I actually... Like, what is the next project we can work on where we're covered in soil and sweaty and dirty and have our hands in the earth? Um, and the coyotes are howling, and I just... I got quite a kick out of it, the manual labor, and I quite...
[01:25:41] Alyson Charles Storey: I just enjoyed the humanness of those few days that we had together doing that.
[01:25:45] Luke Storey: I got a kick out of, um- Seeing what a freaking hard worker you are, what a trooper. Yeah. As you know, it's even with little things sometimes for me it's difficult to ask for help, and I stepped outside and looked at [01:26:00] that goddamn pallet-
[01:26:01] Luke Storey: which was, like, almost as tall as me.
[01:26:02] Alyson Charles Storey: It was a lot of sod.
[01:26:04] Luke Storey: I was like, "Hmm. I think I gotta break down and ask Allison to help me." And, um, yeah, I was actually kind of surprised we just, you weren't like, "Oh, well, can we do it tomorrow or whatever?" You were just like, "Yeah, let's go." And then you're just like, as they say in the construction business, all asses and elbows.
[01:26:21] Luke Storey: You know? You're just, like, getting after it. I'm like, "Isn't she tired yet?" Like, I was smoked. It is such hard work.
[01:26:28] Alyson Charles Storey: I coulda done it for a week straight.
[01:26:30] Luke Storey: Yeah,
[01:26:31] Alyson Charles Storey: you're- If I could've just kept making those laps ... It's
[01:26:33] Luke Storey: that Indiana girl, man,
[01:26:34] Alyson Charles Storey: that- It's the athlete in me, you know. I'm telling you. It's all, it's all of that,
[01:26:39] Luke Storey: um- Yeah, it was, it was fun, but I, I, I don't know that it's something I would wanna do on a regular basis, that particular job.
[01:26:45] Luke Storey: But there is something fulfilling about just taking care of your own shit too, you know, sometimes.
[01:26:52] Alyson Charles Storey: Mm-hmm. '
[01:26:52] Luke Storey: Cause I have this mindset where it's like if I establish, say, an hourly rate for myself, [01:27:00] like, for what I would charge professionally to do whatever, I always think just in terms of time management. Mm.
[01:27:07] Luke Storey: Say if I'm $100 an hour and I can pay someone $50 an hour to do- It
[01:27:12] Alyson Charles Storey: would
[01:27:12] Luke Storey: make- ... the lawn ...
[01:27:13] Alyson Charles Storey: more sense to hire them.
[01:27:13] Luke Storey: Yeah, I'm, then I'm 50 bucks up. You know what I mean? Um, which is great. Uh, I recommend that for anyone, you know, any kind of entrepreneurially, um, guided person. But also there's something to be said for just, like, being self-sufficient too and not hiring out every little thing.
[01:27:34] Luke Storey: And also gives you an appreciation for people that do manual labor and shit, man. It's like we're out there, I'm going, "Dude, there's the guys that come do our, you know, m- g- gardening or landscaping or whatever, um, they're doing that shit all day to a bunch of houses." You know? I'm just like, whoa, there's a whole different life out there.
[01:27:56] Luke Storey: Mm-hmm. So it gives you an appreciation for other people's- And
[01:27:58] Alyson Charles Storey: some of those people really love it [01:28:00] too. You know? They, they love that kind of work.
[01:28:01] Luke Storey: Totally.
[01:28:02] Alyson Charles Storey: Yeah.
[01:28:02] Luke Storey: Yeah.
[01:28:03] Alyson Charles Storey: And I, yeah, and I, there's part of me too. And I don't know the full spiritual background or teaching of, of the, the saying, "Chop wood, carry water," but when we were working on that project it just, I was thinking of that even though I don't know the full context.
[01:28:19] Alyson Charles Storey: Do you know the-
[01:28:20] Luke Storey: I, I think that it is, um, m- Buddhist in origin. I don't know who it is attributed to, if anyone, but the idea is, "Before enlightenment, chop wood and carry water. After enlightenment, chop wood and carry water."
[01:28:39] Alyson Charles Storey: It was really, those words were really surfacing just in my- Pretty much silence of making the sod laps, um, and dropping the sod, picking up the sod, dropping the sod.
[01:28:52] Alyson Charles Storey: I was hearing in my mind, or maybe God was speaking to me, but I kept hearing, "Chop wood, carry water. Chop wood, carry water." And [01:29:00] I was just smiling at that, and yeah.
[01:29:03] Luke Storey: I don't know how you did it without the ice bath. I mean, we're talking- Ah ... Texas in the summer.
[01:29:08] Alyson Charles Storey: Ice baths are for wussies. No.
[01:29:10] Luke Storey: I was... I don't know how many times I jumped in there.
[01:29:12] Luke Storey: It's like, I would be about to pass out. I was so hot.
[01:29:16] Alyson Charles Storey: I would take little water sip breaks, but I just, I like... It really reminded me, I mean, I haven't been, uh, you know, an elite athlete in a v- v- v- v- very long time. And when I was doing that, it reminded me that that essence, me being built with that in my nature, I was just like, "Oh, there she is."
[01:29:37] Alyson Charles Storey: Like, I, I liked when I was done just being all gritty and sweaty and dirty, and I was just like, "Ah, there's, there's that athlete." I haven't felt this type of grit in quite some time, and it felt good.
[01:29:52] Luke Storey: We're living in the most advanced time in human history. So why are so many of us exhausted, wired, and barely [01:30:00] holding it together? Back when I started this podcast in 2016, I was living under two cell towers in LA, and it was a nightmare. I had insomnia, migraines, blurred vision, vertigo, nausea. My system was just maxed out.
[01:30:15] Luke Storey: It was absolutely terrible. So when I moved to Texas, I hardwired the internet, shielded our bedrooms, and did all the physical EMF mitigation you can imagine. But here's the unfortunate reality. You can't eliminate every signal unless you live in a cave, and that's what led me to Quantum Upgrade. It harmonizes the field you live in so your body stays coherent inside all that static that you can't control.
[01:30:40] Luke Storey: And this isn't just a feeling. Their research shows improvements in HRV, brainwave balance, and cellular energy. It's pretty simple, really. If your system is under less stress, you're gonna feel it, and I do. What does that look like? Well, I sleep deeper, I think more clearly, and I don't feel wrecked by my environment anymore.
[01:30:59] Luke Storey: So if you wanna [01:31:00] upgrade your whole situation right now, here's what you do. Go to lukestory.com/quantumupgrade and use the code Luke15 to start your 15-day free trial. If you want your space working for you instead of against you, this is one of the smartest upgrades you can make. Again, that's lukestory.com/quantumupgrade, and that code is Luke15 to get 15 days totally free.
[01:31:24] Luke Storey: You can also find those links and codes in the show description
[01:31:31] Alyson Charles Storey: Well, how about we, uh, check out some of your Luke's Latest?
[01:31:34] Luke Storey: I thought you'd never ask.
[01:31:35] Alyson Charles Storey: Change it up a little bit.
[01:31:37] Luke Storey: When we do these episodes, uh, and I know there's a potential for, uh, Luke's Latest discoveries, I always think, "Ah, I don't know. There's nothing new." And then once the Friday comes when we record it, I'm like, "Actually, I'm just like, I don't think I'm ever gonna stop tinkering."
[01:31:53] Luke Storey: We're always
[01:31:53] Alyson Charles Storey: getting sent something new.
[01:31:54] Luke Storey: Yeah. I'm just a, I'm just a tweaker, man. I just love experimenting with different things. So one [01:32:00] thing that's super cool is we got our Update drinks back.
[01:32:04] Alyson Charles Storey: Thank goodness.
[01:32:05] Luke Storey: That is not a latest, but they are reformulated, and they are in Walmart now, and they're, like, going big.
[01:32:12] Luke Storey: So we were, we were ... You know, we got one little sampler a couple months ago, which went really fast. And now we're, you know, now we're back on our case shipments.
[01:32:22] Alyson Charles Storey: Well, I'm very excited because now there's pineapple flavor, and I'm loving the pineapple. It's my favorite.
[01:32:28] Luke Storey: I'm excited because there's grape.
[01:32:30] Luke Storey: I've always been a grape soda man, and, um-
[01:32:33] Alyson Charles Storey: But overall, is, you've always been a berry fan, which I ... That's not on my list of faves.
[01:32:39] Luke Storey: Yeah. Yeah. The berry, uh, and the grape. Uh, for those listening in general, we're talking about Update is, like, a healthy energy drink. No sugar, no calories, but it has something called paraxanthine, which is one of the three metabolites of caffeine, and it happens to be the one that gives you energy and mental focus and clarity, but doesn't make you [01:33:00] feel cracked out.
[01:33:01] Luke Storey: So, uh, yeah, Update is amazing. So happy to have that back, and now it will be a staple of the show 'cause that's how my brain works best when I do these podcast recordings. And then, uh, there's another one that... It's not a new discovery, but it's just one that I... I don't know. I started taking this stuff probably 10 years ago or so.
[01:33:24] Luke Storey: Uh, it's made of marine phytoplankton that is grown in, um, a laboratory, not from the ocean, but it is, uh, very highly concentrated ocean minerals, and it's from a company called, um, uh, Activation Products, and it's called Oceans Alive. That's what it's always been called, and now they... I think they rebranded it and call it Recharge.
[01:33:49] Luke Storey: But this marine phytoplankton is freaking awesome. I don't think I've ever given you any 'cause y- you would definitely have to put it in a drink or something, uh- It has a flavor? ... 'cause it has a very [01:34:00] strong, salty flavor. It's very concentrated. I
[01:34:02] Alyson Charles Storey: don't mind salty.
[01:34:03] Luke Storey: Well, you might be able to hang. It... You know the Quinton minerals?
[01:34:06] Alyson Charles Storey: Yeah, I love Quinton.
[01:34:07] Luke Storey: Okay. Well, this is, like, super, super, super concentrated Quinton. I
[01:34:11] Alyson Charles Storey: feel like I would like it. Can I see it?
[01:34:13] Luke Storey: Yeah. So what I do is I put, like, two or three droppers under my tongue, but what makes, uh, the magic of marine phytoplankton is a number of things. It's loaded with trace minerals and minerals, but it is also the highest source of something called SOD, or superoxide dismutase, which is the body's secondary most potent antioxidant, um, after glutathione.
[01:34:39] Luke Storey: And so it's, uh-
[01:34:40] Alyson Charles Storey: Ooh. Oh, I just took a whiff. Yeah. Okay, yeah. She's got some- So
[01:34:44] Luke Storey: it's, uh- She packs a
[01:34:45] Alyson Charles Storey: punch ...
[01:34:45] Luke Storey: it's really great to combat oxidative stress.
[01:34:48] Alyson Charles Storey: Wow.
[01:34:49] Luke Storey: And also has, uh, essential fatty acids that are really, really good for the brain. And so it's another one of those, um, products that I really like 'cause it's [01:35:00] completely natural.
[01:35:01] Luke Storey: I mean, it's just, like, a concentrated, uh, algae or a plankton. I don't know if plankton's an algae. But it's something that's grown in nature. They figured out how to grow it in an isolated, completely sterile environment, so it doesn't have any contamination that you would get growing something outdoors and trying to, uh, you know, farm something from the ocean essentially.
[01:35:20] Luke Storey: But it's, um, it's a very concentrated- super nutrient-dense product that is instantly effective. So I'll put a couple droppers under my tongue, and it's like s- you just, like, turned my brain on kind of thing. And most of the ways I've been using it, which is why I kind of forgot about it, because I keep it in my travel bag.
[01:35:43] Luke Storey: And so it's like my, in my top 10 arsenal for air travel because of its, uh, ability to mitigate oxidative stress, which is what wrecks you when you're flying. So oftentimes I only have one bottle and it's in my flight bag, and then I forget about [01:36:00] it. And so I was, uh, rearranging after our most recent trip, and I was like, "You know what?
[01:36:04] Luke Storey: I need to keep this out of my carry-on so I actually use it." So shout out to the Oceans Alive, uh, Recharge from Activation. Super cool. Uh, then also from those guys, and this is one... It's funny, I started taking this stuff, uh, black cumin oil or black seed oil, um, again a long time ago, and these guys do something very interesting.
[01:36:32] Luke Storey: Now people are super freaked out about seed oils, which- Mm ... you know, is a whole thing, right?
[01:36:36] Alyson Charles Storey: Right.
[01:36:36] Luke Storey: Omega-6s. Well Not all seed oils are created equal. Um, some of them have nutrient profiles and, um, what's the word I'm thinking of? Uh, not terpenes. Uh, it'll come to me. But essentially, seed oils are not created equal.
[01:36:58] Luke Storey: Some seeds really don't have [01:37:00] much nutritional value or benefit. A, it's like a rapeseed that they make canola oil out of. Like, there's no part of that that's good for you, no matter how it's processed. But a lot of the issue with seed oils is that the way nature designs seeds is with a protective shell, and that's to keep the volatile oils inside the seed safe from oxidation, from oxygen and light.
[01:37:26] Luke Storey: When humans break those shells and expose those lipids, those fats to oxygen and light, they oxidize and turn rancid, and they become highly inflammatory. So even if you take cumin seeds, uh, black seeds, which are kind of getting really popular. You see it a lot on social media these days, like, "Black seed oil, it's magic."
[01:37:47] Luke Storey: Well, it really is 'cause it's incredibly anti-inflammatory.
[01:37:51] Alyson Charles Storey: Doesn't it also help with par- getting rid of parasites?
[01:37:53] Luke Storey: Yeah. It's-- Black seed oil is the shit. Um, it's really strong, especially this one. But what these guys did that [01:38:00] is genius is rather than using a method of extraction that introduces heat through grinding and pressing, they actually use, uh, extremely cold.
[01:38:10] Luke Storey: They call it ice pressing. I don't know how the machine exactly works, but it's very low temperature, like super cold, freezing when they break up the seeds and extract the oil from it. So there's zero oxidation, which is why they put it in what's called a Miron glass bottle that doesn't allow UV through the glass.
[01:38:28] Luke Storey: Um, so this is, you know, obviously super organic and, uh, all of that, but this is the best seed oil that I've found. Now, normal people, I don't know how normal people would take it. I just keep it in the cupboard, and I take a swig of it here and there. Yeah. Um, but I mention this not because it's a new discovery to me, but it's just, I see a lot of hype on social media about black seed oil, black seed oil, and it's like, yeah, this has been around in, like, the health circles for a long, long time.
[01:38:57] Luke Storey: Uh, when I've talked about it, people are like, "Oh, it's a seed oil." I'm [01:39:00] like, "Yeah, dude." Like, some seed oils are really good for you in moderation, of course, right? So, um, the black seed oil, I mean, it's great for digestion, parasites, um, gut microbiome, but mainly it's, like, really powerfully anti-inflammatory, especially to your GI tract, right?
[01:39:19] Luke Storey: Mm. So many of us have issues with inflammation in our gut and so on, and, uh- What
[01:39:23] Alyson Charles Storey: does someone normally do with that? Cook with it, or just-
[01:39:26] Luke Storey: No, you wouldn't wanna cook it 'cause that w- that would ruin it. I mean, I guess peop- I don't know how people... To me, I don't mind the ta- Like, it tastes fine. It's a little spicy, you know?
[01:39:34] Luke Storey: It's like, it's very potent.
[01:39:36] Alyson Charles Storey: Let me read what they suggest.
[01:39:37] Luke Storey: Yeah. Polyphenols, that's the word I was thinking of. So it's a very polyphenol rich-
[01:39:42] Alyson Charles Storey: So yeah, take- ... oil ... 1.5 teaspoons per day, mixed with a spoonful of honey if desired.
[01:39:48] Luke Storey: Okay. So that's how people make it more palatable.
[01:39:51] Alyson Charles Storey: Yeah.
[01:39:51] Luke Storey: Yeah. I don't, I don't mind the taste.
[01:39:53] Luke Storey: I just, like, swig it out of the bottle.
[01:39:54] Alyson Charles Storey: Store at room temp and out of sunlight.
[01:39:56] Luke Storey: Yeah. Ooh. And it lasts forever, and it never oxidizes because of [01:40:00] the way that they process it. So for those that are hearing the hype about black seed oil, that's, uh, that's one way you can do it, I believe, uh, beneficially and safely.
[01:40:11] Luke Storey: Then
[01:40:15] Alyson Charles Storey: He's digging down in the depths. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, boy. Oh- Yeah ... gosh. Oh.
[01:40:19] Luke Storey: Okay.
[01:40:20] Alyson Charles Storey: Oh, boy. So this- Don't, don't spill that, please.
[01:40:23] Luke Storey: This is The Sprout Company. And, okay, back in the day, you know, it b- back in the, like, the, you know, the health, the hippie health food store days of the '60s, '70s, '80, right, people are really into sprouting.
[01:40:37] Luke Storey: Sprouts are really good for you. Um, but sprouting yourself has always been a little bit challenging. And I tried it back in the day, and it's like, it's very high maintenance and difficult to do it right. They start getting mold, and it just gets weird. So you have to be kind of a culinary, I don't wanna say expert, but you have to be inclined to enjoy time in the kitchen and [01:41:00] monitoring your sprouts and- Gotta
[01:41:01] Alyson Charles Storey: be a real legit sprouter.
[01:41:02] Luke Storey: Yeah, you gotta have a bit of a green thumb. So these guys came up with a system with this jar, for those watching, wherein you can sprout super crazy easy. So all you do is take some of the seeds. This is, uh, broccoli seed, for example. Honey,
[01:41:19] Alyson Charles Storey: water.
[01:41:20] Luke Storey: Uh, it's okay. Uh, and anyway, you fill it up, you let it soak for eight hours, and then each day you just put some water in there and rinse it out and keep them clean.
[01:41:30] Luke Storey: And in five to seven days, this entire jar will be, like, packed with the most amazing nutrient-dense broccoli seeds in this case. There are, of course, other seeds, like lentil and all kinds of different things, radish, whatever. I like the broccoli, especially from them, because
[01:41:53] Luke Storey: Just learned this 'cause they got a new formula, so their broccoli seeds, [01:42:00] some, uh, longtime listeners will have heard me talking to, um, David, the founder of Marra Labs, who makes a product that has something called sulfor- sulforaphane, it's a hard one to pronounce, which is derived from broccoli, and it's a great supplement.
[01:42:17] Luke Storey: Um, it's called BrocElite, and sulfor- sulfor- 'cause it's... I'm just gonna give up trying to say it. When I was interviewing him, I'm just like, "I ca- I can't. I'm just gonna stop and I'm call it something phane that comes from broccoli." So, uh, these guys at The Sprouting Company actually have seeds that have three times more of that.
[01:42:37] Luke Storey: So the thing that's good for you about broccoli, other than just the fiber probably, is this sulforaphane. You would have to eat, like, pounds and pounds of raw broccoli probably, 'cause it probably gets ruined by cooking it, in order to get this beneficial- Hmm ... anti-aging, uh, um, element out of it. So these guys have [01:43:00] seeds that have a shit-ton of that nutrient in it, so when you make sprouts with this, you're getting a highly concentrated dose of that without having to take a supplement.
[01:43:09] Luke Storey: And so the sulforaphane is, um, cancer-fighting, detoxifying, anti-inflammatory, and heart-supportive, and there's a lot of research about that particular, um, molecule. But as I said, unless you really, really, really love broccoli, it's difficult to get unless you take it in a supplement form. So that was something that is a new discovery about The Sprouting Company that I just noticed today.
[01:43:34] Luke Storey: I was like, "Oh, shit. That's amazing," 'cause I can't stand broccoli. As you know, I really don't like any vegetables except, like, salad greens and stuff. I can eat some salad, raw cucumber, couple things I enjoy. But, uh, I'm not, I'm not into the cooked veggies, uh, at all, and especially not broccoli. It s- just tastes like farts.
[01:43:53] Luke Storey: I'm just not into it. Hmm. Um, so the, uh, The Sprouting Company crushed it, and I'm [01:44:00] now on a renewed, you know, one of my new little obsessions is I'm gonna start making sprouts all the time. So you're welcome. You're going to have- ... a fridge full of sprouts.
[01:44:08] Alyson Charles Storey: And you're welcome. '
[01:44:09] Luke Storey: Cause I find if you buy sprouts at Whole Foods or something, like, eh, they always look like they're almost bad, and then if you don't eat them right away- They do turn.
[01:44:17] Alyson Charles Storey: Yeah, they
[01:44:18] Luke Storey: turn quick ... it's a little funky. I can't tell if it's, like, mold on the bottom or if that's the little, uh, medium-
[01:44:23] Alyson Charles Storey: They start to smell, yeah.
[01:44:24] Luke Storey: They get a little, they get a little funky. Um, so this is a very sanitary and fast and easy way to get a lot of sprouts into your diet. And if you're someone- Wonderful
[01:44:32] Luke Storey: like me that really doesn't enjoy vegetables, um, you can get all of the nutrients from vegetables eating a far, um, far less of the actual raw material.
[01:44:45] Alyson Charles Storey: Wonderful.
[01:44:46] Luke Storey: Yeah, so The Sprouting Company is crushing it. And Last one
[01:44:53] Alyson Charles Storey: No, you got your necklace
[01:44:55] Luke Storey: Oh, there's two more. Okay. So I feel like these episodes, like Luke's latest, is like a little, it's like a [01:45:00] little Christmas unboxing.
[01:45:02] Luke Storey: So over the years, I've seen a number of different, uh, kind of light devices, laser, LED, different light frequencies, uh, for the brain. And, you know, I look at the websites and it's like, ah, sometimes there's issues. It's either, like, too much EMF, or there's just not enough power, uh, behind the light to actually penetrate your skull and reach your brain, or it's just not the frequency of light that has the most scientific data to support its benefits.
[01:45:31] Alyson Charles Storey: Mm.
[01:45:31] Luke Storey: So this thing right here, this little crash helmet, my little helmet here, is, um- Oh, I'm
[01:45:36] Alyson Charles Storey: very aware. I've seen you
[01:45:38] Luke Storey: wearing this a lot ... yeah, is a company called Neuronic. And what's rad about it is that it comes with a little portable battery so that you're not plugging it into an electric current and blasting your brain with, uh, AC EMF, which you don't wanna do.
[01:45:54] Luke Storey: So the battery stops that. It is Bluetooth activated, so if, if I wanna use the [01:46:00] app and, like, select any of the different frequencies, then it does connect to Bluetooth, which- I'm not, uh, generally a fan of, but to me, it's cost to benefit ratio. Um, the benefit of doing this for six minutes or 10 minutes versus having some Bluetooth around me, uh, is well worth it.
[01:46:18] Luke Storey: But there is also a setting that you can just turn it on manually, and it runs the kind of, um, flagship program without having to connect to your phone at all. So basically, you put this thing on, and you activate the app, and inside the helmet are all of these laser diodes, and they, um, pulse in a way that doesn't create heat 'cause you don't really wanna heat the brain.
[01:46:42] Luke Storey: That's not a great idea. But you're hitting the brain with, um, different frequencies of infrared or near-infrared light, so it's invisible light. Like, you would never know it's on because you can't see it. You can kinda feel it. It's, like, a little bit warm when it's on. Um, and I think the, the frequency they [01:47:00] use, I think, is 10.
[01:47:01] Luke Storey: It's, like, 1040-something, uh, and it's the one that has shown the most benefit for people with neurological issues, um, Parkinson's, autism, uh, dementia, things like that. So this is a way that I like to tune my brain up. I've been using it a couple times a day now. Um, there are some that are really good for focus.
[01:47:24] Luke Storey: There are some where you can run, like, 40 hertz, which is, uh, gamma. That's the frequency that, uh, gamma brainwaves exist in. And so I'll use it if I wanna be alert and focused, or if it's later at night, I'll run the calm program. So it's really cool 'cause you can build your own custom programs according to which pulse rate you want your brain to, uh, entrain to.
[01:47:48] Luke Storey: So if you wanna be alert, awake, focused, there's settings for that. If you wanna calm down and relax, you can use it for that. So it looks pretty funny. It looks like I'm gonna go on a little bike [01:48:00] ride.
[01:48:00] Alyson Charles Storey: It very much looks like a bike riding helmet. Yeah. That is correct.
[01:48:03] Luke Storey: Yeah. So, uh, you know, it's not uncommon for me to be walking around the house like this.
[01:48:07] Luke Storey: I did a session before we recorded and realized it left a big, like, red line- It did ... on my forehead. Looked like I just got a lobotomy. Uh, but yeah, I, I love the Neuronic. Um, stoked that somebody kinda finally did this right. There's been a lot of attempts at different kinda caps and helmets that are supposed to be beneficial to your brain, and so far, this one, um, is the best one I've found because it has enough power to actually reach your brain, and all of the frequencies are chosen based on actual scientific data, not some hippie doing guesswork.
[01:48:41] Luke Storey: So I think that's it for my latest. Oh, there's one more. Okay, so this company reached out to us, Jack... Jared, what's his last name? Storms. Storms. Epic name, Jack Storms. [01:49:00] So, um, John in operations sent me this link and said, "Hey, check out this guy's art." So Jack Storms makes these... Apparently, in the art world, he's a really big deal.
[01:49:09] Luke Storey: I'm not that tapped into the art world. He makes these hand-cut glass and crystal sculptures, so all kinds of different shapes, um, from pyramids to all these different geometric configurations, and they're just super unique. Like, you've never seen anything like it, and according to John, who's been a big fan of his for a long time, like, the technique he uses to create these works of art, uh, is unique to him.
[01:49:35] Luke Storey: Like, no one knows how to do what he does, um, in the way that he works with glass and crystal. From what I understand, he doesn't heat it and melt it, which is how most glass artists work. Somehow, he cuts it and carves it in that way So super beautiful looking, super cool art. Uh, a lot of it very pricey, out of my range personally.
[01:49:58] Luke Storey: Although I'd like to have some of them in [01:50:00] the house, I mean, it's ... they're an investment. But the thing that intrigued me is he not only creates these pieces of art, and in this case, this piece of jewelry, which I think is called the Bliss something. Is that right, Sharon? The Bliss necklace? Bliss pendant.
[01:50:12] Luke Storey: Bliss pendant, yeah. But what really got me was like, okay, these are really beautiful and unique, but he also infuses them with different frequencies. And so I'm excited to learn more. I'm, I think I'm gonna have him on the show, actually, 'cause I'm just ... I'm very in, into the frequency realm. So this one's 528 hertz, uh, which is the, uh, I think the frequency of bliss and love and all the good things.
[01:50:37] Luke Storey: So I don't know. It's funny. It's not like the thing I would normally wear. Like, aesthetically, I'm not-
[01:50:41] Alyson Charles Storey: It suits you, though ...
[01:50:42] Luke Storey: I'm not a big jewelry guy, but there's just something about this that I like looking at it. It's very interesting the way it catches light. I think it looks nice
[01:50:50] Alyson Charles Storey: on you. It's very beautiful.
[01:50:51] Luke Storey: It gets these rainbow prisms when it hits the light, and, um, I'm just into it. You know me, I love the magic pendants, whether it's the wand device or the Leela thing. It's [01:51:00] like I don't really wear jewelry unless I feel like it's, has some other benefit, especially necklaces.
[01:51:05] Alyson Charles Storey: Except for your wedding band.
[01:51:07] Luke Storey: Well, I mean, that has a benefit that you get a wife. You keep one.
[01:51:13] Alyson Charles Storey: I mean, I'm saying, yeah, different type of uniqueness.
[01:51:17] Luke Storey: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, there's, yeah, there's a, there's a different meaning to the wedding band, yeah. So yeah, Jack Storms, uh, super cool, and very interested in learning more about his, you know, his process, his art, and especially about the frequency part of it, because hello, everything in this reality is based on frequency, so- Mm-hmm
[01:51:36] Luke Storey: I'm very keen on anyone who's tapping into that in different ways.
[01:51:40] Alyson Charles Storey: Wonderful. Yeah. Great selection this week.
[01:51:42] Luke Storey: Yeah. And, uh, everything we talked about, for those of you that wanna learn more, you can find it lukestrott.com/680, and we'll put links to that. And of course, Allison's, uh, offerings, your new projects.
[01:51:54] Alyson Charles Storey: Match. Match with The Field Reveal. Yeah, um, uh- Email [01:52:00] match@thefieldreveal.com.
[01:52:00] Luke Storey: Yes.
[01:52:00] Alyson Charles Storey: Apply now. Casting now.
[01:52:02] Luke Storey: I'm, I'm so excited for you- Thank you ... that you've, you know, you kind of found your next lane, uh, after your book.
[01:52:09] Alyson Charles Storey: Well, technically it did reveal I didn't, I didn't, you know, it, it, it, it presented Yeah The field literally, you know, as, as the spiritual kids these days say, "I got, I got a download."
[01:52:22] Luke Storey: Yeah. Yeah. Got
[01:52:23] Alyson Charles Storey: the download. I
[01:52:24] Luke Storey: mean, if it's not a download from the muse, then- ... it's probably not gonna be, uh, something that is a long tail passion project, you know? Mm. I think the things that just pop in our awareness out of seemingly nowhere sometimes are the ones that really move the needle.
[01:52:43] Alyson Charles Storey: I live in accordance to the good Lord, and the good Lord sent me the idea, so.
[01:52:47] Luke Storey: Yeah. I'm excited. Thank you. I'm just pumped to see, like, your, I don't know, your, your next iteration. 'Cause as I said earlier, I knew you... In your past things, you're doing all these big events, and activations, and [01:53:00] shamanic journeys, and doing shit in Ti- I don't know, the Central Park. Like, all these huge, uh, events with hundreds and thousands of people in some cases, and then did your book, which is very kind of solitary process.
[01:53:14] Luke Storey: Then there was, like, putting your book and your deck out, so you're doing speaking, and book launch parties, and all that kind of stuff. And then you went into just wife and hermit mode for a few years, you know?
[01:53:25] Alyson Charles Storey: Well, there really, yeah, a lot more in, in that, in that chapter. Yeah. But yes.
[01:53:29] Luke Storey: So-
[01:53:29] Alyson Charles Storey: It's a deep initiation
[01:53:30] Luke Storey: within the, the hermit period- Yes ... there were things percolating and gestating, and so, um, I know that because I know you. So I'm excited to see, uh, yeah, to see your next kind of, um, yeah, rebirth of, of new offerings- Thanks ... and ways that you can share your gifts with the world.
[01:53:48] Alyson Charles Storey: Yeah. It's feeling so fun.
[01:53:50] Alyson Charles Storey: There's so much levity. Of course, it's filled with love. So I, um, I'm just very grateful to be experiencing the pleasure that I am in [01:54:00] building the website, and just getting the aesthetics and the branding, and having the names reveal, and just all these puzzle pieces coming together. And the next step, phase one of casting, is, um, yeah, sending your email and with your information, and it all coming to life more and
[01:54:17] Luke Storey: more.
